What do you think about them "fast forwarding" through how they survived that last few months?

Jenn - I think they had to. Zombie fight, hide out, forage, zombie fight, hide out..they needed to really inject some super-story into it and they couldn't this way. Michonne is a huge fan favorite in the comic series, and it was the best way to move to that part.

(and for you Doctor Who fans - the Govenor is played by David Morrisey (aka "The Next Doctor" - Christmas episode)

I never said died in my statement, Darcy, in regards to Zombies. I take offense to that after watching this show for 3 seasons now. LOL.

Starving, like the first woman zombie Carl killed - she was very skeletal and slow moving. I'm assuming she was stuck in that room for a while....My point is, if they don't feed, will they slow down and decay quicker? I don't read the comic books or look at fan websites, so I really don't know what is to come and the different stages of decay these zombies were in.

What do you mean by this? But remember the very end? It may be one reason why the zombies could feed - thinning out those #'s.

A lot happened. There were a lot of bodies just torn to shreds...but I don't know what you are referring to.

lol - I didn't want to say since Brook was reading and hadn't seen the end. There are humans there at the prison - and it makes me wonder if there were more that have slowly been picked off by the zombies. Most of the ones there looked 'healthy' in zombie terms, but Rick seemed to think they'd been there since early in the change - but then to find zombies in the cells...makes me then wonder if the humans caught them and trapped them, or if they trapped themselves, etc. The zombie pets look pretty ragged (not withstanding her way of making them useless for anything other than pack mules). Since we're well into the change now, compared to what we saw those first two seasons being such a short time, maybe.

I loved the show. I have no idea what they are going to do about Hershel's leg now or if he is going to turn into a zombie anyway. But that was an intense scene. And I agree they should have never let Hershel leave Lori's side when she is about ready to pop at any moment. Though part of me really wants that baby to be a zombie and rip out of her stomach and kill her just because I dislike her character so much!

Daryl is by far my most favorite character in the show, I will be sad if his character is killed off.

I don't understand that if they are so low on Ammo why they didn't just wait for all the zombies to come to the fence and then just stab them in the head like they were doing to distract them from Rich getting to the gate. Seems like it would have been a good way to save that ammo. Yes it would have taken longer but it could have saved them a ton of ammo. I something think that Rich just goes off half cocked, he has the best intentions but I think if he just slowed down then maybe they could corral all the zombies into one area and maybe light them on fire or something instead of wasting ammo and lives!

I so want to see that zombie baby attack Lori. First you cheat on your husband (who, yes, she thought was dead... but it hadn't been that long ), then you try to get your husband to kill your ex-lover, then you get ticked when he does it. Meanwhile... oh, there's zombies everywhere.

I guess I thought that they took Hershel with them through the prison because he would know what they needed from the infirmary. However, in hindsight, probably should have cleared it and then took him to the infirmary.

I think the survivors in the prison are an interesting twist.

Anyone know the time span for seasons 1&2? I read last night in an interview with the producers/writers/something that the time that elapsed between 2 & 3 was twice the time of 1&2. Obviously it's been awhile due to Lori's very pregnant state. I guess I wasn't paying attention to the passage of time in those seasons.

I'm so addicted. It's my new Lost. I hope The Governor doesn't ruin it for me.

I was so shocked they took Herschel. He never did the combat stuff anyway, why now? I also can't stand Lori. And Daryl's my favorite character, too. I love the show too much o really critique anything properly. Lol

Ok ladies how are we feeling about Sunday's Episode? They finally brought Andrea and Michonne back into the story and spent the whole episode on them. I really like Michonne and I think Andrea is being naive when it comes to this crazy town. Whats in the tea?! And really heads in aquariums?! Are those all the people he has "screwed" over?

Yeah, I was freaked out by that ending! I DO NOT LIKE that dude! He's nuts! Of course I'm on the edge of my seat as to how they are going to get out of there! And I don't like the two empty slots in that top aquarium. The girls need to get out of crazy town FAST!!!

LOVED it. So glad they're breaking away from the core group for story lines because it had gotten so stale.

Maybe the ones in the cells just died from starvation and then turned...that would explain why there were locked up still?

I like that they fast-forwarded a few months...and that we're kind of having to figure out the dynamics of the group now. Lorie deserves all that Rick can dish out. Her reaction to him when he told her about Shane was about the worst she could have had. He's done nothing but what he had to for them to survive.

I'm not a Carl fan either but I can get on board with Rambo Carl more than Bratty Carl. He didn't say much this episode which was good lol.

I don't know why they took Herschel with them..I guess just so what happened could happen. When he started chopping on his leg though..wow.

Kim I think the first 2 episodes were about a year total..maybe a little more.

The Governor is creepy and also strangely reminds me of Elvis lol I love that we don't know what is motives are..maybe he's just a whack-a-doo.

I still ♥ Daryl but I don't get any chemistry between him and what's her name.

Oh and do you think she'll find a live zombie baby in that zombie she wanted to practice on...ewww

Oh man Nikki that would be amazing to cut that zombie lady open and have a zombie baby shoot out of her and a great way to get rid of Carol cuz you are right her and Daryl just don't match besides their names rhyming. LOL

I have not read through this post yet but was curious. This is on Netflix. Is it a must watch show?

Yes its a MUST watch show! The first 2 seasons are on netfilx right now and the 3rd season has just started. You are 3 episodes behind. Set your DVR and start recording them so you dont miss anymore and hopefully you will catch up before they take them off demand.

Guess I'm the odd one out. I like Daryl and Carol together. I don't know why.

The newest episode was so interesting! We learned so much, but yet so many questions now. I did miss my Daryl though as much as I liked learning about Michonne more.

Watched it last night. Holy creepy Governor. His "ruling" makes me think of him as a dictatorship but coming off as socialism - it's definitely very unlike Rick. He's a mind controlling freak. I was wondering what is in the tea as well. Also - I think his daughter and wife are 2 of those heads. One of those heads was Michone's pets, too, right? Very odd.

Merle was a drug addict, right? I was thinking this, but not sure. Why I was thinking this I have no idea.

Daryl had all his Merle's Pills in an episode where T-Dog just about cuts his arm off. So I think he was definitely a pill popper if not more....

I am not sure if Michonne's pets heads were in the tank or not especially since the scientist guy had them in his lab...I am thinking that tank is definitely something more "personal" to him.

Yep - Kim. Memory served me right. Funny - can't remember what I did yesterday...

I think those heads are alive. I wish I could find a still of the that scene. I really want to see who he has in there. He's so creepy. Very much has a God Complex. I think that was the term I was searching for. LOL!
