Usually I love it. But sometimes it decides to bomb out on me in the midst of working on a layout. And its usually when I am almost done and JUST about to save. Ugh! At least I saved it a few times before hand so I didn't lose everything. But still, annoying!Guess I had more to say about it! I think I need more ram on my laptop!

Wow Emily, I just peeked at your blog. What a fantastic feel you have for watercolor! Those portraits are beautifully done and your cards are so sweet. At least watercolors won't poop out on ya just before you're done, lol.

Aw, thanks Brooke Yeah at least the watercolors never poop out on me. Unless I have a very clumsy day and spill water on it. Actually I find it sort of weird going from photoshop scrapbooking to painting. I cannot tell you how many times I have painted something and made a mistake and started to look for an undo button! lmbo!!!!

Sheri, I usually love it. But every now and then it freaks on me. I think it might have something to do with creating a pattern from paper. I seem to recall this happening the last time I worked from a template.

Thanks Sheri! Well, I had a LOT of scrapping files open. I opened one more and tried to drag the object into my layout and photoshop just stopped working and closed on me. I am in it now and its working fine.

I'm running photoshop cs3 on a vista operating system with a 200GB of RAM. I think if I had more RAM this might not happen. But then again, maybe I shouldn't have like 50 files in photoshop open at one time. I am open to any and all suggestions...

Yeah, I've noticed PS gets "confused" when too much is going on. I've had this happen to me several times. Sometimes I will be resizing something and I'll accidentally type an extra digit (or two) in the % so in stead of 90%, it's 900% or 9000% .... and PS really hates that! If I notice that it's acting up, I immediately toggle to a different program and let it "think". If I stay in PS, it almost always shuts down. I try to save often, but there is inevitably some "rework" involved.

Yeah, that is exactly the kinds of things that it gets hung up on and crashes. I too noticed that if I go to another window it sometimes helps. This time though it went immediately from "thinking" mode to that lovely error window that basically asks you if you want to report the error. Maybe one of these days I'll head over to the adobe site and see if there are some things I can do it get it to run more smoothly.
