Honestly, no idea on most of your questions, but I suggest keeping it at the length of one song, two that work really well together at most.

We did one at our graduation of all the seniors with their senior picture and baby pictures with it. We did the slideshow with powerpoint.

Are you using pictures from birth to now or just senior year pictures?

Ok.

Well length wise it depends on how many pics you use and how long you want it to be since you are looping it.

Music:
Baby Mine - Bette Midler
You are so beautiful - Joe Cocker
Graduation - Vitamin C
Pictures of You - The Last Goodnight
Time of Your Life - Green Day
I Hope You Dance - Leann Womack
Don't Blink - Kenny Chesney
Letter to Me - Brad Paisley
You're Gonna Miss This - Trace Adkins
Photograph - Nickleback
Don't Forget to Remember Me - Carrie Underwood
All American Girl - Carrie Underwood

Hope these help. I'll add more as I think of them.

I did one last year for Grant's graduation. I thought I had it up on my FB, but I don't. Uploading now so you can see it. I used animoto.com. SOOOO easy. I did not use layouts, just photos.

Just finished doing one for our baseball team too. I have a football one up on my FB page from last fall.

OK Angie, it's up. I didn't publish it on my wall (don't want to disturb the Joplin tornado news), but just look in my Photos/Videos for Grant 1992-2010.

Oh, and I lied, I started it off with the title page layout of his baby book.

I think this would work perfectly...it's a mix of Taylor Swifts Love Story, and Viva La Vida by Coldplay. No lyrics, so it wouldn't overshadow the photo montage. It goes for 8 minutes, and you'll notice the song change around 3.45.

I searched long and hard for songs that were more teen oriented and had words that went with the sentiments I was trying to project. The first one is Our Lives by The Calling and the 2nd one is Friends Forever by Vitamin C. I was looking for songs that weren't the same ol' same ol'. Grant and everyone loved it!

I love that song by Vitamin C! It's one of my favorites for that type of thing!
