LOL Are your kids...

... driving you BONKERS??!!?? OMG... my girls are SO freakin' excited for Christmas. They've been bouncing off the walls for days. It's cold and wet outside so they can't go out and play either. I keep sending them to their playroom cuz I need some peace. lol But, as much as it's driving me crazy, I really wouldn't have it any other way. I'm so thankful that we're fortunate enough to be able to give the girls a nice Christmas and it's so fun seeing it through their eyes.

My Grandson will be 3 yrs old in April, so he really doesn't have a clue about Christmas & Santa....BUT he does seem to like presents....LOL We figured it would be safe to put all of the wrapped presents underneath the Christmas tree, right? Wrong! He and his 17 month old sister have been ripping the gift wrap on this one particular present....So we told him that the Grinch came and took the presents and that IF he is good, then Santa will bring them back....Not sure he really understands though....LOL

My son is the same - we've been counting down to Christmas for what feels like MONTHS. I love that he completely believes in Father Christmas - it makes it all feel so special amidst the usual head-spinny feelings of 'have I got everything/ enough/ forgotten anyone' etc.

Yes! Last year L.J. could have cared less, this year as soon as presents went under the tree he started with the "Can we open presents now?". Gosh I'm glad it's coming soon.

Even my 10yo has been asking if we can have Christmas early. This is the first year he has known about 'Santa' and our gifts always came from Santa so I never had any under the tree early except for those going out of the house. Well now I have them all under there and he keeps asking to open them!

Our girls are 8 1/2 and almost 7 and I have a sad feeling that this will be the last year for believing in Santa. The oldest is SO smart and way too perceptive, so she's already asking questions. And of course, once she knows, she'll spill to her sister. Waaah!

Omgosh...my girls are soooo excited too. Things started to get real crazy last week. Friday school ended early because the weather was terrible. And the whole weekend they have just been hyper and nuts. LOL I wouldn't really have it any other way. I love how excited they are and I can NOT wait until Christmas morning.

OMG Yes.. Especially my older daughter. I am so glad Christmas is in two days because I'm not sure if I could take it any longer than that. LOL But I am excited for them to see their faces when they open up their presents.

Mine are not too bad yet, but there's nothing under the tree yet either. I don't put anything out until Santa does, it would never make it.

Mine have put up all the ornaments on our countdown tree and tore off all the links on the paper chain trying to make it come faster.

As soon as I post this, it's all going to go to heck...

My boys, surprisingly, are being very good about everything. They're not bugging me about Christmas at all, they're playing together quietly, and they're helping me when I ask. Devin even voluntarily helped JP with chores yesterday. Devin never helps, and I mean never.

I'll be back later when the body snatchers return my hooligans.

Well, mine are both still little, so they had no clue. I didn't put any presents under the tree until last night. We opened gifts last night so they would have a day to play with them before we leave for the IL's. They're having so much fun today with their new stuff!

Mine are driving me bonkers but not really because of Christmas, but cause they won't clean their dang room!! It has been a complete disaster in there for over a week and I keep sending them in there to clean it and instead they're playing or fighting or tattle-tailing on each other for the stupidest things! Just clean the gosh darn room girls!! LOL!

I gave my guys a deadline. Clean it by 6pm on Monday or there's likely to be coal in your stockings. Both rooms are spotless now. I wish I could use that ploy all year round!

I told mine that if the house isn't spotless, Santa won't come!

Every year on the 23rd, I do a major clean through, and we're all done now, so it's time to sit back and relax! Woohoo!

And the kids are getting worse as the day goes on LOL

Yep, this house has been loud and busy the last couple of days. If we don't have anything on TV for them they are bouncing and screaming. At least Piper and Chey went to school Mon and Tue, but Mckenna's been home all week and she's non-stop action.

I'm so looking forward to later, we're dropping them off SIL's place and she's taking them to g-ma's for an overnighter! DH and I are having a nice quiet dinner with my parents, then when we get home I'll wrap presents.

ohmygosh, my boys are driving me CRAZY today! They're bouncing off the walls like they're on crack or something! They even asked to go to bed 15 minutes early last night so that Christmas could come faster! lol

I'm about to put Little C down for his nap and then its DVD time for Cameron so I can get some peace and quiet!! lol

Well, 2 of us are sick with hacking coughs, so that's put a damper on things for me. But my oldest just took my twins out to shop for DH and me - first year for that since he wasn't driving last year. The twins are 10 and either still believe in Santa or are pretending (I pretended until I was 13 because I too was the youngest and knew if I no longer believed, he would stop coming!). But I'm ready to be done with the Santa thing - 17 years of doing it is long enough. So after this year, if they don't find out another way, I'm telling them myself. Ha!

YESSS!! They're supposed to be having naps/quiet time and they're bouncing off the walls! We kind of figured that's what they'd be doing but STILL... OY VEY!

Oh, and thanks to Jamie, we've got to check Santa Tracker every 3 freaking seconds.

All my kids are grown so I miss the excitement of kids climbing the walls waiting for Christmas. Elise is still too young to figure this Christmas thing out. All she knows is that she is going to get presents. My older girls are with their parents in Germany so I hear from my daughter about their little antics concerning the Christmas wait. Hopefully DD will get some Christmas video for Nonnie so she won't feel too left out. HUH DD?

Beyond Bonkers. I've answered countless questions about Christmas, Santa, reindeer, fireplaces, stockings.....

I still have to finish wrapping tonight....sure I can finish a LO for a CT in a couple hours....but it takes me weeks to wrap gifts.

Whew... it's 6:30 pm Christmas night... all the toys are out of the packaging, the electronics are set up and all is calm. The last 25 hours have been insanity! We had a party here last night that lasted until 1:00 am... and the kids were bouncing off the walls the whole time. Riley kept running around singing that stupid song from the Sponge Bob christmas episode...

Santa's coming tonight tonight....

Thank goodness I had finished all the wrapping and nothing needed to be assembled, so after we were done cleaning up we went to bed. The girls had us up at 8:00 (which was later than I thought it'd be).

All in all it's been fun!
