Default So....what time did you get up?

We generally get up somewhere between 5:30 and 6:30 every day, but this morning at 5:30 on the dot Tristan comes stumbling out into the living room and shouts PRESENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did your kids rise before the sun?

Our boys were always early risers (5:00-5:30) but for the past week they haven't been up until at least 7:00-7:30. It is wonderful. They woke up today close to 7:30!!!

Cameron came bounding into our room at 6:30 about to pee his pants from excitement. Then he woke up his brother while I got on my jammies and grabbed the camera. Now they're zoned out in front of the TV possibly regretting their choice of an early rise. lol

Well I was up off and on throughout the night due to a sick 20 month old...it came on suddenly, so now we're keeping an eye (one eye, in my case *lol*) on it today so it doesn't become worse.

Well, we got up for good at 8'ish but it was a LONG LONG night. Aubrey was up most of the night puking (yeah, NO FUN AT ALL) and I was washing laundry that she puked on. And Aaron after being puked on a couple times and having to get washed off was up the majority of the night watching the "A Christmas Story" marathon. So he didn't fall asleep until 5 am. It was just a crazy night. We went to my in-laws for Christmas Eve and I got super sick...very nauseous and could barely move and all I wanted to do was sleep. Then we came home and I had to go straight to bed and my hubby did the whole presents thing...I don't know - the night was just a mess. So, Aubrey got up around 8'ish (me, hubby & the kids were all cramped in our bed) and she said "lets go see if Santa came" so she seemed to feel better. So far no more puking.

Ok, I'm done babbling!

G-man woke up at 6:30AM to eat and by the time he was feed and changed I heard the older kids stirring so I think we finally made it out to the living room at about 7AM!!

Kristen (6) woke up before 4am and came in to bed with me then went back to sleep until 4:55am when Kaylee (3) woke up. They stayed in my bed until 5:25am then went into Kristen's room to play until 6:50am when I got up and we all took a shower. Got down here around 8am and they looked at what Santa brought them then they opened their presents.

I've been sick since Monday evening so dh had to do the stockings and wrapping of gifts (BTW I did NOT get his hybrid calendar finished...it's printed...just not assembled...was waiting on paint to dry). dh took the kids to his mom's house last night and I stayed home. I finally got a bit of sleep last night. I got up about 8 and took a shower and dh WOKE UP THE KIDS...we have yet to have a Christmas where they woke us up! What is wrong with these kids?! When I was growing up we were waking mom and dad up at 5:30am!!! My kids are 20, 14, and 13 and have yet to beat us up on Christmas morning!

I've eaten some scrambled eggs...so far so good. Just wish this perpetual headache would take a vacation!

Mom wants us to come over today...guess she is a gluten for punishment...if she had seen how sick I have been she would be saying stay home for a week or so THEN come over! She's too excited about the gifts she is giving though. lol

um, the kids woke up around 7:30-8. Mine are traditionally not early risers - ever! Christmas Day is no exception. Doesn't help that they are only allowed to open any gifts left in/beside their stockings until all the family is here!! My ILs left around 10 to go to church, they should be back shortly, and then SIL and her fiance will arrive - then we get to do presents!

Abby got up at 5 yesterday.. she was confused.

She got up at 7 today and was about to pass out, she was so excited, then she had to go drag her daddy out of bed.

I had actually set the alarm for 5:45 cause we needed to get up and with it early since Taylor (step-son) had to go to his mom's this morning. It takes us a good 2 hrs to open gifts because we go SLOWLY doing one gift at a time and taking time to look at each item. So we needed an early start.

I took a nap as soon as Tay left though. LOL!

Guess Evan took me seriously that there would be no presents if he woke up too early!! This Momma needs her sleep and I stayed up late with last minute stuff!

I got up at 5 am to finish working on some of my projects (and I finished them all just in time), but hubby and the dogs didn't get up until 7:30 am. One of the joys of not having kids....

I heard my youngest wake up the oldest at 7:40. They were allowed to go downstairs and scope out the presents, but not touch anything. I heard them get into the light-up swords sticking out of their stockings (because they make a big noise when you turn them on!). 8:02, the youngest comes in our room saying "Wake Up! Wake Up!" and then proudly tell us that he "let" us sleep in 2 minutes. LOL! (they were supposed to let us sleep in until 8:00 am).

I was up and down all night for no aparent reason. I was tempted to just wake the girls up at 6:00, but was too comfy to get out of bed. I finally fell into a good sleep at around 6:30 and the girls got up at 8:30. I didn't get a nap, so today I'm really tired. I'm definitely napping today.

My daughter (4) is not an early riser (much like her mama). I think she got up around 8am and we were opening presents by 8:30am.

She actually got up this morning earlier then she did yesterday (at 7:30). LOL
