*sigh* i officially have a middle schooler.

maddie is sporting a brand new hair cut. short story long, actually (). on the way home maddie was in hysterics. the woman did not do the hair cut she wanted AT ALL. maddie was crying so hard and rightfully so. it was no bueno, she looked 7. we even went with piccies and i'm super good at explaining cuts to people. anywho...we get home she is super upset, still bawling and i go to town with the scissors (kindergarten round edged scissors, mind you.) i cut big chunky layers in it, huge giant bangs, we wash it and i restyle it and she's in love. she cried again, just as hard, but this time they were tears of happiness. isn't she a dolly?! she looks too big though. no bueno.

I can 1-up you, Lizzy. Avery is starting high school. I just sat and bawled the other night thinking about it. I only have 4 more years with her at home--it doesn't seem like enough time to make sure I've geared her up in every possible way to fly off and be an adult. Geesh. I'm crying again.

awww I know how she feels!! I cant count how many times Ive had a bad cut cause the stylist does not listen :-( She looks great though!!

(oh my oldest starts her senior year in August and my youngest is starting middle school this year also!! I dont really have any babies at home anymore)
