Apple has my business FOREVER!
This is what happened yesterday to my computer.
It was accidental, and the person who did it felt really bad. I cried, but only a little bit - after all it is just a "thing" Today I took it to the mac store, they asked a million questions ie did I have homeowners or renters insurance, was it purchased with an american express card etc... the apple care does not cover accidents such as dropping, so they were looking for some loophole that would prevent me from having to pay to get a new one. The man went in the back, and came back after about 20 minutes, asked some more questions, then disappeared again for another 20 minutes. Finally he came out and said that they would REPLACE it with a new one for FREE. I almost cried again I was so happy. They even renewed our apple care so the start date is from today instead of the previous purchase date. They said they should be able to transfer all of the data for me, and are working on that now. I will shop there forever! |

I am a HUGE fan as well. My laptop was out of warranty and my daughter stuck paper inside the DVD drive. I tried getting it out and in the process of testing it out, a DVD got stuck. I took it to the store. They asked me to leave it overnight. Worse case scenario, I would need to buy a new DVD drive. They had it ready and fixed the next morning NO CHARGE!
Also, I dropped my iPhone and broken the glass. Also, out of warranty and the warranty doesn't cover accidental damage anyway. Took it in...they replaced the glass....yep, you guessed it, free of charge. As long as they keep making great products that actually work and maintain their awesome customer service, I will be a client for life.

we bought a dud ipod for dd's bday and they replaced it and we had a new one within 3 days. LOVE their service.

another forever loyal apple customer ... i had water damage w/ my laptop a few months ago and they were AMAZING about fixing everything up for me .... love love love them!

I have no apple experience, but the picture of your baby almost made me cry! lol I'm glad they replaced it for you!

That is wonderful! I've heard nothing but great things about them, even if you go in with a PC itunes issue.

ThT is awesome. I had the same type of service with Nintendo with both my DS and my sons DSi. I have the XL one now and it works great but they are really wonderful to work with and often will fix something so long as it is close to the warranty period for free.
