.png files?

I have recently purchased my first digital kit and received the embellishments as .png files. I don't know how to use these files. Any suggestions?

.png files allow embellishments to be saved with a transparent background, rather than a solid background like jpegs have. When you open it up in your program you should be able to add it to you page.... sorry, I can't help much. I'm not really sure what you're having problems with.
