What a relief!
I don't back up my kits as often as I should, and I was thinking this morning, I'd burn some kits to dvd since I've bought a lot lately- I always keep dvd backups, just in case. Well, a while ago I was having trouble getting fonts to stay in my font folder... I'd open PS and they wouldn't be there, and they'd be gone from my pc, and I'd have to go dl again. Well, it ate 2 of my awesome Darcy fonts from the GGG sale, and I've looked everywhere on my computer. I've been whining to myself for the last month that I lost them, and when I got out my backup discs to see where I left off on burning, I found them!!! I was so excited, I literally did a happy dance. They were Bean Pole and Swirl Me Around

Good news! I wonder why your program is doing that? Totally annoying!

I don't know... I usually click copy, then paste them into my font folder, and it installs them. I noticed the problem, because I dled 1942 report font and installed it, then when I went to use it it wasn't there, and it wasn't on my computer anymore either So I re-dled it, and tried again, and again, it wasn't in my ps, and when I went back to check, it wasn't in my font folder, or in the folder I dled. I did it like 4 times, and it kept disappearing. So after looking around to see if other fonts were disappearing, I noticed those 2 gone. I finally did get 1942 report in there but by then, my Darcy fonts were gone and I couldn't use the link to dl them any more. I have no idea why that happened, but I'm glad it hasn't happened since - and now I double check every time I get a new font!
