Default Where to buy basic hybrid supplies (UK/European ladies)?

I want to get some basic hybrid supplies (I don't know what I want/need though ) and was hoping you ladies could point me in the right direction. I'm thinking mainly for card-making before I get any more adventurous.

There's no chance of finding supplies locally, so it'll have to be online, so can you link me up with your favourite places to buy please (preferably somewhere that doesn't charge astronomical shipping rates, lol)?

Thanks ladies.

My fave place to shop online is http://www.scrapbookdepot.nl/catalog/ Orders of 40 euros or more and under 2 kilos that are within Europe ship for free.

Flower, ribbon, adhesive, cardstock and maybe some stamps are good for hybrid cardmaking.

Hi!

I am moving to the UK in a few months and the first thing I did was Google scrapbook stores :P Coincidentally I'll be living a few miles from what it seems like a pretty nice store. It's in Soham, north of Cambridge, and they have an online store: http://www.capturethemagic.biz

There's also this: http://www.calicocrafts.co.uk
They seem to have a nice selection.

Have fun!!!

I buy all my chipboard, adhesive and embellishments from The Scrapbook Shop in Durham which is my local (ish) scrapbook shop and where I crop each month

I get my card and blank cards with envelopes from Century Paper, who I found via ebay - the shipping costs look very scary, but when you work out the cost per card, its very good actually (just don't be put off straight away!). Lots of peolple lioke The Paper Mill too.

I tend to shop around for best prices via the internet, and so am not exactly loyal to one store, though I get most of my ribbons from Poppicrafts (love the store owner, Michelle), and I like Capture the Magic, Cuddly Buddly, and CraftsULove too.

Lizzy I found you one in Ireland, I've never shopped from them but they might have some basics for you and the shipping might be cheaper

Thank you so much Andrea, you shouldn't have gone to so much trouble. I really appreciate it . I'm going to spend some time tomorrow looking through all the different sites and comparing prices, so I'll check it out then too.

If you get into stamping, there's a fabulous Ireland base company: Waltzingmouse. Great quality stamps and images!!!
