So my in-laws are visiting...

k - I had a whole long paragraph typed up but I sounded like a brat and had to delete it.

I am so lucky my in laws alwyas stay at a hotel about 3 miles from our house when they come to visit...it is good for ALL of us and makes the visit so much better I'll pray that Thurs gets here soon!

I adore my ILs but any company drives me crazy after a few days so my sympathies are with you. I hope your visit goes great though and that you are able to get some time in there to take a breather from the company and relax.

Yep, this is me, too. Any company gets on my nerves pretty quickly. I like my routine.

Good luck Erin! I get along with my MIL very well and I don't mind having her around at all. When they came and visited us when we were in Tucson, she was always pleasant and helpful. FIL is another story. I can only handle him in VERY small doses.

Having anyone else live with me is always hard.

It is good for your kiddos, though, that they love them enough to come visit, especially if they come more than once. Hope the week goes quickly and you take lots of fun pictures!

My FIL spent a week with us earlier this month. I though it was going to be absolutely unbearable, but he was actually pleasant and appreciated how friendly I was (per MIL after the visit). So, maybe you'll be surprised and it will go well. When all else fails - leave the kids with the in-laws and go for a long walk or really long trip to the grocery store.
