I don't usually nap, but last night was super windy plus the puppy woke me up at 0315, so this morning I had a great little snooze on the couch after the kids went to school. Now I feel like I can cope with the day.

I'm enjoying my coffee then I will be going through a box I brought home from my dad's house. We found some old photos and paperwork that I will be scanning today. Such a treasure trove of information and memories that will warm my heart and bring many smiles today.

Today my husband and I are going to do a walk/run to start training for our first 5K!

The high temperature today is supposed to be 72 when our normal high is in the 30s, so I am sitting here with my windows open and air drying my sheets!

I have just recently taken up walking to try and improve my health so my walk today will be my Carpe Diem moment!

We are currently in Australia visiting family. We are heading out soon to a local coffee shop for breakie and coffee. Looking forward to trying something new and different while enjoying the company of my family that we don’t get to see very often.

We were on vacation for a few days and now it's back to reality. We're gonna treat ourselves to some beignets at the New Orleans airport on the way home. lol.

Today I had dinner with some girlfriends! It was a really nice evening of spending time together.

Today I'm going to go for a walk in the countryside where we live now. It's a frosty winter's morning so I'll be wrapping out warm and going to enjoy the fresh air.
We moved out here 18 months ago for a change of pace and it has definitely been a move for the best

I put one of our cats down yesterday, so I put off answering until today. I am going to scrap and knit and drink coffee and just be kind to me today.

I traveled home (FL) from a week visit in OR to see my 87-yo mom who is in failing health. It was an emotionally rough week and I am happy to have made the trip but equally happy to be back in my slice of paradise.

Thank you Carrie for the fun challenge and I didn't know it was the Carpe Diem Day on the February 26th. Yesterday it was my twins birthday so we celebrate their day and I had a great time organizing it and being with them.
