Ok, he is such a smart, amazing actor, there's something going on with him. Seriously, like he is not doing this because this is who he is. He's either doing all this wierd crap for publicity or a secret movie...or SOMETHING.
Unless he's on some serious drugs, this has got to be not real.

I hope it's a publicity stunt.

I almost wonder if he isn't schizophrenic... if it's not a stunt.

WOW, that was actually heart breaking to watch. He almost looks like he has the beginnings of Parkinson's or something. However, if it IS some kind of joke/publicity thing... he deserves an Oscar for that performance.

That clip made me very sad-I hope that it was a publicity stunt, if not someone needs to intervene and get him some help!
Poor Joaquin.

LOL Susan, I watched those too. Painful.

I'm actually pretty PO'd at Letterman for treating him like a tool... I think it would have been more tactful (to say the least) to just end the interview prematurely and... I dunno... do more headlines or whatever. He was so disrespectful and not in a hehe-haha sort of way... just malicious. I don't generally like Letterman but this is the nail in the coffin for me.

I just googled this to see what you all were talking about... and OMGoodness. NO WAY I would have ever guessed that was Joaquin! He's a lot heavier, and greasy and looks (and sounds) strung out on something. So sad!

that was awful--did not seem like a publicity stunt to me at all. wow. that's bad. I actually feel bad for letterman. It would have been nicer to end the interview, but he really had nothing to work with there. weird.

I watched clips of it this morning. He was so wasted...I was laughing so hard though. David Letterman is SO hilarious!

I agree with Annie about Letterman. I really hope he wasn't for real, I mean he is so incredibly talented, one of the best IMO, and also a gorgeous man. I hope this is fake or he is able to get some help.

He's had problems with alcohol I think so it wouldn't surprise me if he is off the wagon.

LOL... an art project.

Why doesn't he sculpt a giant naked man like normal people... surriously. LOL

Well, let's hope that's true, eh?

I agree... after seeing his brother OD, you'd think he'd stay away from the drugs, but who knows. I love him too, so it;s really sad to see...

I saw an interview once he was doing backstage at an awards show and mid-way through answering a question, he asked if there was a frog coming out of his head...

SOMETHING is not right and either way, he needs real help.

This is heart breaking to me. He is such an amazing actor, it is so sad to see someone wasting their talent like that. I cried and cried when his brother OD'ed. I pray he doesnt do the same.

if this really is some sort of joke or project, it is so not funny in light of what happened to his brother.

Yep. I hope he straightens up, he is soooooo talented. Sad to see a life going down the drain and it happens so often in Hollywood.
