Default Accordian Album Help?

I am making an album for my daughter's little kindergartner that is graduating this Friday. My pages are done and for the life of me I can't remember how I made an accordian album before. Does anyone have a template or instructions they know of that I can peek at? My pages are 8x8 so in thinking - I would need to make my backing pages 8.5 wide so that I would use the extra 1/2 inch to glue to the next accordian page right? I am a bit tired and under the gun here so could be thinking too hard here....lol!

Yup, that will definitely work. Just make sure you do one folded forwards, and the next folded back to make it an accordian

Ok would you leave your pages plain or do you laminate them to preserve them? I am not sure on this.....

I think that's personal preference. I dont' have kids and don't often make presents for kids, so I've never laminated anything in my life. I also tend to think that if they ruin it, I can always make another.

My only concern would be if it lays flat enough when folded up accordian style, otherwise it might end up like one giant long piece of paper, kwim?
