Default Photoshop CC... what the????

So Keith (boyfriend) and his son went to DC for the march and he wanted to make a poster out of all the signs he took photos of. I told him to dl a trial of PS and I'd walk him through it.

Holy cow... it's so different from the older version I'm using that I feel like a useless idiot, lol!

Who uses it and who uses an old school version like me?

I'm still using CS6. I don't know when I'll make the switch--probably when a future computer is no longer compatible with this software.

I use CC, but my dad uses Photoshop 7!!!! So I know the other way round - whenever I have to do something on his computer I'm like "wait, what? I used that version like a century ago" lol

Using CC and I love it....I didn't think it was too big of a difference but I went from CS6 to CC so that might be a smaller jump

I use CS5. I trialled CC for free, but my laptop didn't like it at all. Not enough memory probably. CS5 does everything I need it to, so I'm sticking with it till it dies.

I used PS7 for the first 10 years that I digitally scrapped.

I had CS5 for a few years and switched to CC a couple years back. I don't remember it being so very different but maybe I blocked it from my memory like moms who go through childbirth.

I upgraded maybe a year ago from CS5, but haven't noticed much of a difference. My PS desktop looks exactly the same. What are your biggest challenges with it?

I switched from PSE12 to CC- talk about a learning curve! It's so worth it though to always have the current updates. I love it & whenever I work in PSE to test actions or whatever- it drives me crazy!!!

I am still working in CS5. I have thought about switching to CC numerous times, but have yet to do it. Probably won't until my CS5 craps the bed.

I use PSE15, but just subscribed to CC. I feel useless in Photoshop compared to PSE!!

I started with PS5 too, but when I started digiscrapping I started with CC and haven’t looked back since.

I switched to CC about a year ago, and the only thing I miss is mini bridge. And I miss it a LOT. Otherwise, it’s been an easy switch
