Eewwwww! I haven't heard of it either. And, I think I was happier in my state of ignorance. Now you're making me want to go look it up, Robin.

Kinda like Hoarders. Turns my stomach yet I have to watch it. And then clean afterwards.

I could probably watch it (don't have Animal Planet) unless it has ants. I am terrified and highly allergic to ants.

Is it the episode of the bedbugs at the camp? I saw that one Dh was watching, and got me started... One of those things you can't stop watching once you start.

You can't stop, can you!! I don't think I could handle bedbugs, or scorpions... Actually, probably couldn't handle being infested with anything!

Epi #3 - Roaches, Mice & Racoons! awww yeah, bring it on!

Actually the very first condo Rocky and I bought when we were in our 20s was infested with roaches and it was the most horrifying time of our lives. It was AWFUL. I'm talking you could turn off the lights for just a minute at night and turn them back on and see things scurry to get back into the dark. Horrific.

Oh ewe my hubby has watched a couple episodes. The entire premise just gives me the creepy crawlies -- thinking about it, not even watching (which I will never do, lol)

Did you guys know that when mice run out of food they turn to eating themselves!

And just one female roach that's been bred will turn into 59,000 in a single year!! FIFTY NINE THOUSAND from ONE!!!

ACK!

Ok - it's over.

Right now we are having a mosquito infestation.

I can handle the big giant roaches around here. Except for when they fly. They are easy to chase down and kill. But if I ever find a small food roach I will move.

Ahhhh, I remember that one! I saw that, too, and I know EXACTLY what you're talking about. She had to pry them out of her skin--and she was fortunate in that she knew what she had to do to survive the plane crash. None of the other folks who survived the crash survived the rainforest because they didn't know enough to *get out* from under the tree canopy and the humidity, and to open water.

Edited to add: Oh, and don't forget the mouse infestation in some part of Australia (I think?) gets every once in a while. I abhor the little things (we had a garage infestation, didn't realize it for a while, and then wondered why the entire cat population of our surrounding neighborhood was hanging around our house!). But the mice they showed on this ranch just...omg. They covered EVERYTHING, outside and inside the farm's house.

Okay....you have made me want to watch this now. I just got done watching all of the Hoarders episodes on Netflix. I can't help myself. It is horrible but, I think watching it helps me clean! I may not be able to watch an episode about scorpions though. I hate those things after being stung many times in my life. And if they do one on snakes.....forget it, I won't sleep!
