Oh no! I've left mine in the van a few times after carline. (No, I'm not reading while I'm driving. I have to sit there for 30 minutes. lol)

Maybe it ran off with my Passport. I've been looking for two weeks straight with no luck. Hope you find it!

I dont know. I lost my Ipod Touch. Well actually I did not lose it I knew where it was but asked my husband to look there (next to the tv in our bedroom which is also a place my husband dumps all kinds of crap) and I took his word that it was not there. So I cleaned the living room, my son's room and the kitchen in hte process of looking for it. Thought well he overlooks his own crap all the time so I went and looked for it where I said it was and sure enough I found it next to our tv. Anyhow try to remember the last time you were reading on it/using it and check all around that room. If all else fails tell the kids youll give them a dollar if they find it LOL (that is how I always had stuff found when my kids were little. they would look until one of them found it) Also maybe check the outlets? Maybe you put it on charge somewhere?

They really need to come up with something for the Kindle like the iPhone has so that when it's lost you can go to your computer and ask where it is and it will start beeping or flashing or something. Really.

that is my biggest reading time too! LOL I sometimes get there a little early just to justify more reading time.

Sorry Kristin you are missing your Kindle I'd cry without mine! Do you take it out of the house, or just keep it in the house?

I actually work with Kindles and Nooks for a living. I spend my days developing concepts, designing, testing, and doing QA on Apps for Kindle, Kindle Keyboard, Kindle Touch, Kindle Fire, Nook Color, and Nook Tablet. Work provides me with several devices to use for testing purposes. It's probably the best job ever.

hehe, everyone wants my job. It can be fun, but there is a lot of tedious behind the scenes work too. We focus mostly on productivity apps, and are starting to develop some game apps as well.

A locate device idea is great, but I doubt it could be put out unless Amazon itself developed it. Amazon and B&N are pretty picky about apps that require a data connection, other than using WiFi, since you don't pay a subscription fee for internet usage through them.

The fridge has been a frequent "hiding place" for things that can't be found in our house...

Mine had been missing for 2 weeks. I finally found it the other day DEEP under the front passenger seat in my car. Must have gotten pushed under there or something???

The car would be my best bet too - reading in carpool. Or in a stack of books/magazines by the bed. If you read in bed could be under the bed or beside table??

I do the same! lol. Especially since we have a DVD player in the van and Eli entertains himself for the most part. Mother of the Year Award for me right there.

Sadly I have found my iphone in the fridge and pantry on more than one account. My ipad seems to be left in my purse often. Or beside the tub as I read while in the tub. I've also left it in the pantry. I think everything should have a tracking device as I lose things often.

Sorry, I don't know where your Kindle is... but have you seen my son's iPod Touch? It seems to have disappeared into thin air!!! I've been hunting for it for a few weeks to no avail... and he is usually so good about keeping up with his stuff. I don't want to have to buy him another one, and I'm super concerned because the app store on his iPod is connected to my Paypal
