Planner ladies.
Just a though for those of you who love the ECLP but might want to try something new, but still similar. The inkwell press planners are awesome. They have thick, nice paper, excellent customer service and will release their new planner (2016) in September, with the release of the planner, they will also release an A5 version to put in your filofax, kikki-k or other branded planner cover.
I'm so excited for fall, and to get my very own. But of course, the wait is making me want to try out all the other styles and planners.

I've been wanting to get a planner SO BADLY but I can't seem to make myself dive in and make the initial investment. Maybe that should be a goal of mine for this summer, before the fall get's going.

Oh, and my style is simple too. I was getting caught up in watching YouTube videos about EC planners with tons of washi tape and stickers, etc. but while I wanted to "play", the style didn't really feel like me. And then I saw this video. Her style fit what I was looking for. I put together a planner package for my mom showing her that style and she loves it too. Pretty much the only thing we have changed is that we stick the big dots on our monthly view page and we put a tiny dot sticker on the weekly view to remind us that there is a big dot with a note on the monthly view. I also splurged on a small set of the erasable pens she talked about in the video. I found washi type tape with a party design to put on days of parties or birthdays at Dollar Tree. Oh, and I also attached a plastic envelope inside the back cover of our planners to be able to carry some of the dot stickers, etc. with the planner and I store the rest of the stickers, washi, pens and can store the planner in a big plastic file envelope from the Target dollar spot. Traci has a planner set you could print out if that might work better for you. There are inexpensive ways to jump into the planner fun. You can always decide to "upgrade" later. I like that video. I would probably keep it simple too.

There are absolutely less expencive alternatives out there. You could even make your own, use Traci's pocket planner or use a notebook and just write the dates in yourself.
