Swagbucks! Finally signed up!

So you ladies got me all curious about Swagbucks and I signed up! Won some points today! LOL!! Hopefully I can get some of those Amazon gift cards as well.

NOW Darcy since you seem to understand it well explain the shopping and points thing? It says you can earn a point for dollars spent etc.. but i don't see Amazon on the list. How can you buy things at amazon and get points? i have some books I need to purchase today..... thanks!!

You earn 2 points for every dollar spent through a store listed in their shop & earn section. Amazon isn't one of their shop & earn stores, so you won't earn points by shopping on Amazon.

You're probably thinking of people redeeming their swagbucks for amazon gift cards. 450 swagbucks = a $5 amazon giftcard.

Leah, if you search for swagbucks in the forum you'll get a bunch of posts with lots of information.

The best way to earn quickly is through referrals. At one point I had A LOT of referrals and really earned the points quickly..now I don't have but one or 2 active referals so it's slower going but I still earn enough for 2-3 amazon gift cards a month (5 dollars each).

Surveys can be good but only if you qualify..a few times i've won between 150-250 at a time with those.

Swagbucks TV is good too...I usually let it just run on auto while I'm at the computer and can earn 10-20 in a few hours.

I also do the NOSO 4 bucks a day.

I've not ever used it for shopping, but my sister went through SB to do most of her online Christmas shopping and earned a LOT of sb's that way.

I haven't tried the games yet and probably won't..just not into games.

I probably earn about 20 a day from searching...I search early morning and early evening and just keep searching the same thing until I win...but you have to space them out a few minutes..if you click click click you'll get a warning page and could be deactivated.

Oh and watch for codes...I have enough facebook friends who use swagbucks that I can tell pretty quickly if there's a code out..usually on the blog, facebook page or in the toolbar.

if you do groupon, you can get swagbucks that way as well. just get them through the swagbucks site.

Whoo Hoo! I love Swagbucks. I've earned $155 in Amazon gift cards since last July.

I get mine VERY slowly - I can't get any of my family to use me as a referral! I decided that if I can get enough Swagbucks by my birthday (August), then I'll buy a Kindle. If not, then I'm asking my friends and family all for Barnes & Noble GCs to get a Nook Color.
