I hate *cooties*
I tell ya, we don't often have a house full of cooties, but these last 3 weeks have been awful! SOOO glad to be back to "normal" around here, and more than anything happy husband is back to work. Mostly because I don't have to go in for him anymore!! I sure missed my routine, the quiet during the baby nap times, and freedoms... HA! Anyone else get crazy when their routines are broken?

I hear ya... I was sick last week, then kiddo go it... and then hubby got it over the weekend. Not that it really changed our schedule, he still did radio on Sunday, but I felt bad doing anything when he is sleeping the afternoon away. He did go to work today, and kiddo is still whiny, but we tried to do some school today... it didn't go well... I can't wait until all the sickness is gone! I have the windows open today, hopefully that will help with getting the germs out!

I feel like we have been taking turns since before thanksgiving and it hasn't ended! That isn't exactly the truth but that is how it seems.....there has been a healthy week scattered here and there. SO glad it is starting to warm up so we can vent out this place and finally get rid of all those winter germs. Of course now everything is starting to bloom, we are fighting allergies! LOL

Not cootieelated, but yes, SS being here for his Spring Break is really throwing me off. Miss Monkey went back to school this week, so she needs to go to bed at a normal time, get up early, etc. while SS (and DH) are staying up until the wee hours goofing around and then sleeping in until after lunch. It's actually pretty ridiculous that she went to bed at 8:30 p.m. and was up at 7:30 a.m. while they were up until 3 a.m. and SS didn't get out of bed until 2:30 p.m. I was working on my afternoon/pg nap, for pete's sake, after getting all my errands done for the day, and he was still sleeping.
I had her sleep with me last night so the boys going up and down stairs, playing video games, watching TV, etc. wouldn't wake her up. The walls are so thin here, and her bedroom shares a wall with her brother's. |

I know what you mean! My son went to school today and I had a quiet morning all to myself. Then I had lunch with my DH sitting on the deck listening to the birds. It was fabulous!!
I spend lots of time planning activities for us to do when our routines are different. For spring break I did some mini science lessons and then we went on a trip for a week. For this summer I've been working on more science lessons and art projects to pop into those times when 'doing nothing' is getting us crazy!
