Default Go-to pick me ups?

What's your go-to when you're feeling blue? I'm really trying to stay out of the pantry!

It's cold and rainy here today and I really don't want to leave the house.

ABC Family seems to only want to play movies that make me cry, lol. I'm about to go stir crazy!

Well, if you don't count food or leaving the house LOL.....

Taking a bath with my kindle to read, scrapping, putting on some music and just dance for a little while!

I like to make a cup of Hot Cinnamon Spiced Tea, turn on the Black Eyed Peas station on Pandora and scrap or edit pictures. If I've lost my mojo then I turned to reading magazines or a book.

Putting on some good smelling lotion and then some thick socks and comfy clothes always makes me feel better too!

Hope you get out of your funk Nikki!

I like to put on Little House or Marry Poppins or some equivalent (something from childhood) and give myself a manicure. Always perks me up.

I've heard that if you're feeling blue, put on some sad music, then gradually change the music to happier and happier and pretty soon you're feeling great!

Oh and bubble baths work too

First a good cry then a shower (maybe). If I am feeling really down, I' have to leave the house and go exercise. On the way to the gym I blast my music and after all is done I go and buy a coffee or something hot to go home and relax.

If I still feel bad scrappin it is, it helps me change my mood and just get all my sadness out.

I hope one of these suggestions in this thread will help you Nikki, I know feeling blue bites!

I put on Finding Nemo. Dory seems to do the trick for me. Each and every time. She just never fails!

Definitely music - either playing it or listening to it. Nothing like letting it rip on the drums to get out my frustration or if I'm blue listening to some hard rock or dance party music usually does the trick

- play loud music and blow stuff up in a video game
- play loud music and exercise like a beast
- bedroom action...fast and furious

When I'm feeling blue, I have to rev things up.
Cold and rainy days, however, make me want to just lie around and do nothing
