Happy Thanksgiving to you!

I am what I call "Americanadian" so I always refer to Canadian Thanksgiving as "Thanksgiving - Round 1" lol We do dinner on Sunday also, saves the actual holiday day for relaxation and leftovers

Hahaha that’s awesome, my sister has lived in Knoxville for 22 years, she still makes a turkey on Canadian Thanksgiving and celebrates with us via FaceTime.

Hubby has to work on Monday so we decided Saturday was the day to do it, means we can have a day to relax today before he has to work (and I get the bonus day tomorrow lol). Bonus for no cooking now due to leftovers!!!

I wonder if I'm the only person on the planet that doesn't like turkey? We are celebrating my granddaughter's 4th birthday tomorrow and going for lunch at my son's to celebrate. Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadians!

Happy Thanksgiving friends.

Lidia...I am not a fan of turkey. We go to Cracker Barrel a lot of the times for Thanksgiving so I can have roast beef or chicken instead of turkey. I haven't cooked for years. Last year we cooked for Thanksgiving but it was Spaghetti while in a rental in Orlando. <3 We like to travel for Thanksgiving.

Just got home from my mom and dad’s and our turkey dinner. We have always celebrated on the Sunday, leaving to enjoy the day off.

Full belly and now I want to sleep, lol.

I had a wonderful Thxgiving wkend with family and had lots of food, binged some shows and went to the casino (where I won a bit). The 3 days off work went too quickly and I am almost at my birthday now so the countdown can start to my quitting my part time job and just having "me" time all the time

When are you planning on quitting? Is it soon? Are you quitting when it is your birthday? That must be so exciting!

The countdown starts after my birthday. I may quit by xmas or I may last until next summer or anytime I feel I’ve had enough. I hate to give up the money but money isn’t everything. We want to sell the house and move so quitting earlier will give me more time to get the house ready and do a big purge as want to downsize.
