Default What is your absolute favorite main dish?

What is your absolute favorite main dish?

Mine is etouffee, I just love it!!! In fact, I'm making shrimp and langostino tail etouffee right now, so it's what inspired this thread!

Any type of Mexican food...enchiladas, burritos, chile verde, nachos....especially if a margarita is involved.

Mmmmm... This is a tricky one. I happen to love all kinds of food! I get on a 'kick' and will eat something until I'm tired of it. Right now it's a tie between sushi and loaded beef fajitas.

Hmmm, right now in the summer it's black bean cakes with mango salsa.

In the winter it would have to be butternut squash ravioli with maple cream sauce

This! I think I could eat Mexican every day and not get bored. Enchiladas are my favorite.

I love mexican food too!

For purposes of this, just pretend that you don't have to cook any of it! ... (although, I really like cooking ... not so much the cleaning part though, lol)

That's a tough one but people have already named a couple of my favorites - chicken parm and butter chicken. YUM. I also think nothing beats a great steak and mashed potatoes. And speaking of etouffee, I adore Louisiana-style BBQ shrimp. Once in a while, I dream I am living back in New Orleans and I am usually going to eat BBQ shrimp.

Once again, Marie, you need to cook for me.

My favorite is spaghetti, been since I was a kid. But I also love black bean mango chili or burritos or Mayan couscous.

I haven't had their yakisoba or salmon chowder, but we always enjoy our visits to Cutters.

Mmm...hard to say. Right now it would have to be Paneer Tikka Masala or Basil noodles with paneer. Love that there's a restaurant here that serves Indian, Chinese, and Thai foods but I can get anything there made with paneer (Indian cheese cubes) instead of meat! I'm also a big Mexican food fan. What's not to love about beans and cheese? At home I mostly make myself vegetarian curries or salads topped with things like tofu marsala or Quorn (vegetarian chicken alternative) and feta for dinner. They're good, but not what I'd choose if calories were equal!
