non-soupy.. the directions call for way too much water

Like La, the sodium gets to me, but when I do eat them, I prefer them soupy.

I cook the flavor packet with the noodles and then dump out all the water so there is just a hint of the flavor.

When I ate them I preferred them non-soupy. I ate them so much when I was a broke college student thought that I got sick of them and haven't had them in years.

Well my husband and I ate them a lot when we first got married and we drained most of the water then put the packet in them. So non-soupy. We do not eat them much anymore just because they are kinda gross to me now.

Non-soupy.

On another note...have you ever looked at the info on the back? Those packages are TWO servings...so if you eat it all yourself, you've got to double all of the calories, sodium, etc.

I love them!! lol, I make it with the water it calls for, and the girls like to eat it soupy, but I just dish out the noodles for myself.

Non-soupy. And I'm obsessed. I know they're terrible for me, but I love them. More than almost any other food in the world.

I am a total weirdo and have never had them. I have high blood pressure now so I really should never have them. Hubby buys them for his work lunches though.

my hubby gets a craving for these once in a while... but then he is a salt fanatic - he puts salt on everything... so if I have some, I drain out all the water and then just sprinkle on some seasoning... I also like to top it with chopped tomato.

I dump out most of the water, just leave enough to dissolve the seasoning. And, I only add half of the seasoning packet. I can't stand it so strong. And, the package says to boil for 3 minutes, I usually go for 6 or 7. lol I like them really soft. And, I only eat chicken flavored.

It is the broth that has most of the salt. You could always get the noodles that come in a package (not a cup) and then instead of using the packet that is full of sodium, mix the noodles with a low salt broth which you buy or make yourself and mix in some fresh veggies.

soupy when I have them, but I honestly haven't tried them with just noodles and I'd probably love that, too.

My FAVORITE way to have them is uncooked on the top of my mom's yummy cabbage salad! Mmmmmm!

I will only eat the oriental flavor and I like mine soupy and I have to finish all the yummy salty broth! I also like to add a small box of the single serve microwaveable stir fry vegetables to mine. My kids love them too, they like all the flavors though it usually takes 3-4 packages to feed all three of them lol! Oh and they always have to add 2-3 ice cubes to theirs to cool if off.

I'll only eat the Oriental or Shrimp flavors, not very soupy and I never use all of the seasoning packet. I don't eat them often. One of my kids loves to eat them dry, right out of the packet.

My son did that and so did my daughter. I craved them dry when I was pregnant so maybe they got it from me? LOL I do not eat them that way anymore and tried to discourage the kids but they did it anyhow.
