Favorite sports bra?
Due to an injury a few years back that prevented me placing weight on my foot and then subsequently ruling out impact activities, I switched from jogging to elliptical for my main cardio exercise. I also lift weights.
Neither of these activities requires a really good sports bra. However, I've started wanting to do other things and find myself constantly annoyed with the lack of stay-put-ness of the bras that I own for working out and wanted to see if you guys had any recommendations. Not sure if it matters, but I'm a 34c. I'm also super short in the torso, so I need adjustable shoulder straps (or a bra where it shouldn't matter). I don't use a separate sports bra but I do wear tops like these from Lucy: http://www.lucy.com/X-Back-Tank/2150...r=LUCY%20BLACK
They have a built in bra and are super compressive so they fit like a glove and everything stays put. I wear them as is since it's almost always hot here but you could always wear a shirt or something over them too. |

I actually bought a couple from Old Navy that I really like. They are adjustable, they stay in place and they are pretty supportive. Of course, I'm a B so there's not much to support. LOL!

This Fiona bra by Moving Comfort is awesome!!! It straps them DOWN! And you can adjust the straps.

Ooh thanks, ladies.
Lynnette...I have terrible time with tanks like that (and 1pc swimsuits, and dresses and woven shirts). I'm super short through the torso (not proportionately, so petite things don't quite work either)...just don't even get me started on finding things that fit me. I live in knits for a reason. I'm in ON all the time, Carrie, and wonder if they keep those in stock for me to take a loot at. I need something that can deal with jumping and running. I'm definitely going to try that one, Megan. You mentioned all the right stuff. |

I have the same one as Megan and it is amazing. No black eyes with that bra on. I actually have a couple different moving comfort ones and love them all.

I'm a 36c and this bra is my fave: Champion Racerback. I Get them at Target. Loooove all the color choices, too.
(edited to add: I use this for elliptical, zumba, yoga, etc. I'm not a runner!) This one is basically the same thing, but with adjustable straps. Last edited by YepBrook; 04-06-2012 at 11:00 PM. |

My favorite is the Victorias Secret one, it has underwire and holds them down like nobody's business. I wish they made one to hold my butt down, too! I bought a couple from Old Navy, but they shrunk so bad in the wash, I can barely get them off when I get them on.

Gosh, I haven't worn a sports bra since the late 80's. LOL I just exercise in my regular bras.

Try a sports bra. You will see the difference in absorbency & support, and you won't have to put so much wear & tear on your "good" bras.
