Default Coffee Table Book - Opinions Please

Ok - Just ready to order a coffee table book of my son's toddler years. My question - Full Bleed or small border. I like the full bleed - but the border is nice too.... - and there is ZERO chance of anything being chopped... this is a BIG book - over 110 pages - I would be soooo upset if anything got chopped.... Help!! LOL

To preface, I've never had a book printed out- so take my opinion as just that lol. BUT I would do full bleed :] I think it looks prettier.

Most sites you print with will have a template of what each page should be sized to so you don't get anything cut off.

I resize all pages slightly before I print for photobooks, and I've only had elements cut off, that I leave close to the edge. Never text. I've printed around 37 photobooks.

Depends how you scrapped the pages. I usually don't put anything important on the edges since it could get cut off when printing. If you did it that way, check against the site's template and go full bleed. If you went right to the edge, I'd do a border to be safe. Enjoy your book!

I use actions I resize so nothing gets cut off (Wendyzine's).

If you do a border there's still a chance it will look uneven due to the bookmaking process.

I've printed lots of books and have always been happy with full bleed

Hope this helps!

Melissa whats the name of the action you use to resize. I just got back a bunch of pages and I was surprised by how big they resized my pages, my pocket pages didn't come out all that well.
