Default Soooo Thirsty!

I've been SO thirsty the last few days...I've been drinking a TON of water, but it never seems to be enough! I think it might be dry in here though because my lips are always needing lip balm or something on them or they hurt and feel like they're going to crack.

But seriously, I'm dying here, lol. It can't be right to be this thirsty ALL the time!!

No...I don't really like water, lol. I'm drinking it because I need to drink SOMETHING since I'm not drinking Coke.

Bree - it could also be your body's way of saying - DANG - I want more of this stuff!

I find that I drink more water and am thirstier when I cut back on the soda. Partly for that reason, partly because there's no taste anymore, and I'm craving the taste which I translate as thirst.

Generally, when one goes onto a good water routine, your body craves more, making you feel thirstier than normal.

Its your body playing tricks on you. Your body is craving the sugar (which is actually dehydrating). Resist the urge and drink lots 'o' water!!

You can do it, Bree!!

Having taken a number of health/nutrition/biology classes... the first thing I thought was that could be a sign of diabetes. Are you peeing excessively too? Sorry, not to scare.... but just thought I'd ask.

Or, you know... you could *JUST* be thirsty.

Not peeing excessively, no...but this only came on right as I stopped drinking pop...so, it's probably related to that, right?

I'm going in for bloodwork probably tomorrow...been a while since I got it done and my doctor asked me to go get it done this week.

Did you drink lots of soda on a regular basis? It could just be that your body is working on processing out all that sugar and in the process you get dehydrated... thus the increased thirst. hehe

Yep, its totally your body reacting to the lack of Coke. Keep up with the water though!
