i have lived in Oregon for about 10 years and haven't heard it pronounced like that but i could be pronounced like that

This thread cracks me up, haha.
Do you say it with three syllables or two? In CA everyone pronounced it with two. So Oregon is said pretty much exactly like you would say organ. |

3 syllables, but the middle one is short and fast. LOL I'm in Northern Oregon and we and Washington say Oregon as 3 syllables. And of course, now I need to mention that Washington is NOT Warsh-ing-ton. LOL
