That article sounded like it was written by a PC guy who simply doesn't get why Apple fans are Apple fans. Maybe I'm in the minority but I haven't run into any of the problems he described - no dropped calls, calls are just as clear as with any other phone and my battery lasts quite long considering how much I use it. I really doubt that the iPhone on Verizon is suddenly going to reveal all these magical flaws. And the Android vs iPhone thing to me is no different than PC vs Mac - just because one sells more doesn't always mean it's better.

I do think it'll be interesting to see what happens with Verizon and AT&T. I figure the extra competition can only be a good thing for consumers.

LOL Lynette. That's kind of what it sounded like to me too. Putting value on form isn't such a bad thing, and Apple is aces at it. So far, I haven't heard one single thing that bothers me even a little about the Verizon iPhone. I'm still giddy excited. Feb. 3rd can't get here soon enough!

I think he pretty much admitted that in the article. I don't know why but the article amused me.

DH and I had a ton of dropped calls with our iPhones but we did love them. But it got to the point where it was unbearable. I still use my iPhone over wifi a lot though.

I never have dropped calls, or garbled unclear calls, and my battery lasts long enough to satisfy me.
