how do I upload images to my portfolio? I seem to me challenged in this area.

you'll want to right click on your layout and go to properties. in properties there is an address (url) that you will want to copy. Do that and then go to your portfolio. Click on the little mountain picture and paste the url into that field. hit okay and there you go! I hope that makes sense
