30 Days of Thanks - November 22nd
First off, today I am sorry for missing the post over the weekend. I was super busy and completely spaced it. When I get busy like that, I am lucky not to forget where I live!
Speaking of where I live, today I am thankful to have my own home. It took me a long time to be in the position to become a homeowner and I am proud that I was able to do it on my own. I love my house and where I live is really great. I have a lot of fun decorating things, you all, I just did the garage, LOL, and even more fun planning the decorating. It really is my happy place.

I missed the weekend too. I'm thankful for an amazing day spent crafting with my bestie yesterday. We spent the day at a craft painting workshop, which was so much fun. We met some lovely ladies, were given so many little gifts, and had a wonderful time. It was nice to be out and actually feel normal again!

I'm thankful for a bit of down time before the storm of the holidays. I saw Christmas decorations out on people's lawns already and thought to myself: "Didn't we just do this??"

today I am thankful that I have a job that is able to afford me a place to live, food on the table and extras.
I am thankful that I was able to help my son pay for his computer repairs without dipping into a food or bill budget.

I am thankful my kids are bigger and I can leave them at home. They are out of school all week for Thanksgiving break. I had a doctor appt and then went shopping for a bit. I left at 830am and just got home at 230pm....had a lunch date with hubby as well.

I'm thankful for my husband's generous spirit. He is making SIX turkeys this year, four of them to give away and bless people. We were invited to a Thanksgiving celebration like normal, but he hosted one for our prayer group last night, too, and everyone was so excited. People do not eat turkeys here, so it's really a special treat. It's so much work for him, but he's happy to be a blessing to others. I wish I was more like him.
