I'm getting ready to start a new school year (I'm a school library media specialist), and of course that means decorating my library. I thought that instead of buying those motivational posters that we teachers always buy, I would scrap some. I've been reading over various TOU documents and can't really find anything relevant to this, probably because it's not a very common thing. I'm thinking that it shouldn't be a problem, BUT I don't want to step on any toes and/or do anything improper. I would be making the posters for ME to hang in MY library using products I have purchased at SSD. If someone could let me know whether this is covered under the TOU, I'd really appreciate it.

This is an instance when you would need to ask each designer that you want to use whether it would fall under their TOU approval.

FWIW..my fonts would be fine for this.

What a great idea! I don't see why it wouldn't be okay. You are making a "layout" and hanging it at your work. Sounds great to me.

Anyway, you have my permission to use my product.

Thanks Darcy and Julie! The above was pretty much what I was thinking as far as it being just a really big layout. Now to get the creative juices flowing and get to work. I am thinking of 4 or 5 different posters right now. One of them is actually using your Carnival kit, Julie. Hopefully, some of the other designers will chime in as well. If not, I'll contact them individually. Thanks again!

I'm with Libby. I can't see this violating the TOU of any of us. You aren't being paid for using the designs...it is a personal thing that is being displayed publicly...certainly OK with me.
