Anyone know much about FODMAP diets?

Elisa (6) has had random abdominal pains for over a year now, with seemingly no specific cause. There are no other associated symptoms except constipation - just the pain which comes and goes at random times. One Dr attributed it to the constipation, and we've been trying to rectify that, but the belly pain continues. Another Dr has recommended we look into trying a FODMAP diet with her. He didn't give me any other info except to look it up and see what I think. So.....I'm at the start of researching about it, reading the gazillion pages of info on the net about it, and wondered if anyone here has experience with a FODMAP diet, or knows any particularly good resources I can use.
