Default You know what I hate about x-mas?

Ok, I know thats a horrible title for a thread the day after x-mas but still...
You know what I hate about Christmas?
ALL OF THE BOXES!! I swear our garbage can is filled to the breaking point, there are still a bunch of boxes that we couldn't fit in there, and trash pickup isn't until Saturday!! How are we supposed to recover from all this garbage? I'm going to be behind for weeks now!!
Ugh.

Our garbage pickup isn't until Friday so I know how you feel. I just keep piling up the boxes and little twist ties from the toys...those things are SOOOOO annoying.

Those twist ties hurt on bare feet...OUCH!
Our trash day is tomorrow Thank Goodness, I have two huge boxes sitting in my living room filled with wrapping paper, trash and the dreaded twist ties.

Thankfully we don't have many boxes. What trash we do have I crammed into the ones we did have, lol.

It's a good thing we don't have little ones yet. We usually have trash pick up on mondays. I figure it'll be a good 12 days or so before we get our trash picked up, lol.

We are recycling all of the boxes, any other cardboard and the wrapping paper. DH isn't going to like the trip to the recycling center to do it, but we recycle as much as we can, so he'll do it without complaint! Until then, the pile of it is a pain! And I despise those twist ties too!! LOL

It took me an hour to get those blankity-blank Littlest Pet Shop toys out of the boxes, darn twist ties and clear elastics! Of course it was worth it LOL

We have TONS of boxes, we are lucky to have a pickup, so it's all in the back until Tony can take it to the dump. Since we live in a super small town, that's doable for us. We have serious recycling issues because our town is so small, and they don't take much, just bottles and cans mostly. It's too bad, I have boxes filled with boxes! (and twist ties! )

i believe cardboard is the bane of my dh existence.. lol we recycle so he cuts it all down to make it easier to transport. now that the kids are getting older, though, the cardboard isn't so bad. smaller pkgs the older they get.

Oh oh!! I know what you mean. I had to take four LPS pets out of their boxes and those friggin' clear rubberbands-from-hell things were driving me crazy!!!
