My story.
HE arrived in this world at 6:57, was 18 1/2 inches and He was 6 lbs. 1 oz.
 He's laying next to me about just falling asleep. Again. .He's slept a lot today and they insisted on giving him a little formula because his blood sugar was low. IT was a pretty rough night last night. I joked that if DH gave me a massage and we had sex maybe I'd go into labor.Well...two hours later I did. I was "okay" for about an hour but then it hurt SO BAD. DH took Will next door and SLOWLY helped me up after calling the doctor and discovering I was bleeding and my water had broken. Apparently my uterus ruptured.  Which means I probably won't be having any more babies of my own. It seperated from my the area where my first scar was. But that explains the SEVERE pain I was in.I haven't talked to MY OB about it but his partner who started my section told DH that. We'll see. It's probably not worth it though, especially since we are very open to adoption if we go with #3. It looks like DH will be snipped sooner than later. Will loves to give him kisses and I finally saw his eyes - maybe two hours ago. . . sleepy head. Now watchhim be up all night. Oh and my heart rate was high and test were abnormal so tehy had to do a CAT scan and Ultrasound --thinking maybe I have blood clots. No word yet so I guess everything is ok. It all sounds bad but it really wasn't - overall. Oh, I was dialated to an EIGHT when I got here. HOLY SMOKES. I think is about it. I covered a lot, but not everything, I'm sure. I'm just EXHAUSTED. Thank heavens's for cute/paste so I don't have to tpye thi sout but once.

Wow--what an experience. I'm sorry that your uterus ruptured, but I'm so glad that you're open to adoption. Glad to hear that you're both safe and healthy. Best wishes to both of you!

I am so glad everything turned out OK!!
Honestly as miserable as you were yesterday... I'd bet you were in labor most the day Get lots of rest, and I'll see ya when I see ya... If I miss you too much I'll call LOL

Wow, Priscilla! Sounds like quite the night, but I guess little Lucas was bound and determined it was time for his arrival!

I am so glad to hear that everyone is ok. Must have been a scary night. You definitely have a fabulous attitude. I sure hope you heal quickly. Lucas is absolutely adorable! Congratulations!!!!

Congrats on the birth of your son! I'm sorry it wasn't as smooth as it should have been and that your uterus ruptured, but thank goodness you're both okay. I think it's great that you're open to adoption if you decide you want more children.
