Finally Creating!

I’ve been following along digital scrapbooking for a while now yet I can count the number of pages I’ve made on one hand! This year I collected templates & kits and found an organizational system that will work (I think, lol). I’m excited for the new challenge system to be unveiled and hoping it will keep me motivated.

2019 will be my year to finally create pages and I’ve already gotten started with the layout below. Simple use of a template, kit, photos and Affinity. I’m still looking for pointers on how to improve but overall still happy with the result!

Beautiful photos and page! Good for you that you found a method that will work for you and you can get those precious memories recorded! Your page is cute!! I love the lights (I can't ever get banners or strings of lights to work well in my layouts) you're doing great! Keep with it.
Templates , Shadows and tutorials on shadows &tutorials in general. Trial and error is a big part too. You will make poop pages. (I still do) but I will throw it away and start fresh if I'm getting no where.

This may be way off bade but I felt that my scrapping took off once I found my "go to designer" Most of my kits are from her and it seems like my layouts just come together so easy compared to others. I know some of it comes from my OCD with some of the flower styles and the way she works hers into the kits just flows with my style. But I can't just pick up a random kit and flow like it does with her. Now I've found other's I like but when I'm out of juice, I open my favorite kits and it usually comes to me.

I know that this community and one other also played a big part because of the positive "tribe" like vibes. When I started being more active in the forums I started to get feedback which always boosts your confidence.

If you ever have questions or anything feel free to pm me. ** ill also add ive done all of my pages from my 5 inch screen on Android (which is a serious handicap vs iOS scrappers) so if I can do this , YOU can too. I'm so excited to see your pages.

It's a big jump from collecting and organizing to completing LOs! Good job on taking the leap! Your LO is lovely.
