Default QOTD: 0106 Tips

I use shortcuts all the time in photoshop. Do you use any shortcuts?

Let's all share 1-2 tips. Say what software you use and then what the tip is.

In Photoshop, I use control + Z a lot (to undo the last step).

My second most used shortcut is V to access the move tool. I keep the auto-select box ticked on (on the left side of the upper menu), so that when I click on something in my layout, it automatically selects that layer and then I hit the V key so that I can start dragging the product around my page.

I use PS CC and my most used short cut is Ctrl E which merges any layers I have highlighted

Oh man, I think this falls under muscle memory b/c I'm having a hard time remembering what I use! LOL! Other than what you've mentioned in PS CC I use "Command J" often to duplicate a layer.

I also learned recently that you can just drag your cursor over multiple visibility icons (the eye) in your layers panel at a time to toggle off or on instead of clicking each one individually!

The commands I always use are:
cmnd + c (copy);
cmnd + v (paste);
cmnd + z (undo);
cmnd + j (duplicate);
cmnd + a (select all);
and cmnd + e (merge).

Send to back: ctrl+shift+[
send to front : ctrl+shift+]
(if you don't hit shift, it will move the item just 1 layer)
