Favorite Layout
Since SSD is celebrating their 13th birthday, I thought it would be fun to look back ONE YEAR ago, back to Jan/Feb/March and share your FAVORITE layout that you scrapped.
This was a lot harder than I thought it would be! I had so many layouts that I scrapped, but I think in those three months, this would be my favorite layout because I love how peaceful my daughter is while at the top of Pike's Peak viewing the beauty down below! https://www.sweetshoppecommunity.com...e-west&cat=500 What about you? What's your favorite layout from Jan/Feb/March of LAST YEAR (2018)? **if you are new here to SSD, share one of your favorite layouts you've recently created and uploaded here **if you weren't here last year during Jan/Feb/March, share your favorite layout from anytime last year **if you have just come back to SSD and your layouts are from previous years, share one from your gallery Last edited by Neverland Scraps; 02-04-2019 at 07:05 PM. |

Love that LO, Wendy!
It was tough picking a favorite! I had a few and narrowed it down to this one. I had a vision of what I wanted it to look like and was very pleased with the finished product.

I love this idea!! I'd post one, but I was on scrapping hiatus at that time. I'll be happy to sit back and check out everyone else's pages though

I don't have that many LOs in my gallery, but I think this is my favorite from Feb of last year mostly because I spent so much time looking through old pictures it just made my day!

I can do that
This one is a fave from March a few years back. I love it because it reminds me of this fun photo shoot with my daughter - she was being so silly! Plus it's one of my fave kits ever!! Sadly, it's a kit I lost in my computer crash. But at least I have this pretty layout to remind me of it!

I had a tough time choosing between two, but ultimately I went with this one because I had so much fun with all those snowflakes!

Last year around this time was a very hard time. My mom passed away last Feb. So there is a big gap in my gallery here. I did find this one from last March that I really like. I struggle a lot with using paint splatters etc. But this one just came together!

So many lovely pages in this thread!
I like some of my layouts more and some less, but picking just one favorite is too hard! I ended up going with this one, partly because I the photos. They're from Ben's spring band concert in 5th grade. I have some of the story scrapped on another layout, but there are other parts of the story that I wouldn't want Ben to read and so haven't written down. Ben has Smith-Magenis Syndrome, so he's on the autism spectrum and has speech and motor planning disorders that tend to isolate him from his peers. There are a lot of age appropriate things that he can't do well. But in 5th grade when he was eligible to be in the band, he decided he wanted to join. We let him but were very worried about how it would turn out. We knew he didn't have the coordination to play an instrument well or the dedication to practice and improve. In the end his band teacher was fabulous. She totally got what he could and couldn't do and found a way to include him. She encouraged us to keep him in band in future years for the social aspects, which is a lot of what he probably likes about it. He's in 7th grade now and still in band, which never would have happened without this positive start.

I did not scrap much in 2018. Sadly I only had 3 layouts in the gallery from those 3 months!! So it was not hard to choose one of the 3! LOL

This one for me.
It's just a random photo, but I love it. I love my layers and clusters here as well.

This is one of my favorite layouts, regardless of year, so I'm so glad it fell into your time bracket!
I love KCB (the person) and KCB (the product) so I can sometimes 'hold onto' a particular kit that I feel like my photos are not 'worthy of' yet. These pictures were not posed & taken over the Fourth of July (which is why I had to make them B&W) but I so love them and so love that I finally got to use this beautiful kit to scrap them with. |
