okay help me...quick!
remember me talking about my weird computer problems the other day? yeah they intensified and I have some kind of "downloader" virus that I can't get rid of. For about 3 hours last night if my computer was on for more than 10 minutes it gave a blue screen and turned off. It took 8 hours to run adaware overnight and didn't finish....at this point I'm thinking it's FAR easier and less stressful to reformat. SO.. before I do that I want you guys to brainstorm wtih me and make sure I haven't forgotten to backup anything. so far I have:
my documents my pictures (all photos) all scrap stuff my favorites (from firefox AND IE) my email my music files that were on my desktop fonts I have all my programs on my EHD or disc. So can you guys think of anything crucial I'm forgetting that I will be banging my head on the desk over?

Amy did you try malwarebytes? I had a nasty virus about a month ago and nothing worked until I tried it and within minutes of starting it had found and deleted the virus.
