Default How do you get/listen to music?

I'm curious how everyone is getting their music these days. Feel free to ignore my commentary and just vote for your choice. You can pick more than one.

I stream music for free on Spotify.

I also buy individual songs itunes and Amazon. Oops forgot that as an option! I guess that's my "other"!

I pay for a family subscription to Spotify, the whole family gets access for like $15 a month. I do listen to the radio in the car sometimes too, but mostly my playlists.

I don't really buy music, so I just listen to local radio and Pandora.

I've got spotify premium. I pay for the family one because 4 of us use it and it saves the arguments over who can use it at set times

Well... with hubby as a DJ for radio, we do not subscribe to a streaming service on principle. It is what is destroying radio. I do listen to prime stations through Amazon because we already pay for it or listen to the radio. Rarely do I listen to Pandora - again, do it for free.

I don't pay for subscription services - I stream through Spotify or Pandora. And listen to the radio in the car.

I'm a radio person. I also download songs through Amazon Prime that I can listen to when radio isn't available. I have songs on my phone that I bought, but most of those are from before Amazon Prime included music.

I have an old playlist on my phone which started on my ipod then transfered to my phone. Then say, if I hear a nice song on a tv series I'm watching, I buy them on itunes, sometimes amazon. I used to buy cd before too. But now a days it's easier for me to access the songs on itunes.

I buy my music mostly on ITunes. So easy. Then I make 'compilations' that I record on a CD, so I can also listen to them in the car... but I have those compilations saved on my pc too, so I can listen to them when I'm designing :-)

I have SiriusXM in my car. Can't stand local radio and all the talking and commercials. I just want to listen to music!

At work and home I listen to music through Amazon Prime/Unlimited. I used to use Pandora but got sick of the ads.

I'll still buy a CD if it's an artist that I love, but mostly I get the few new songs I like off iTunes. I'll have to check out this Spotify.

I also do Spotify premium family. Cheyanne and I are both HUGE music people and we listen to music more than we watch TV. She listens when she runs, bikes. I listen when I walk, garden, cook, scrap, etc. I do listen to local radio in my car sometimes around town if they're playing anything worth listening to and not yakking away or playing umpteem thousand commercials, but when road tripping I definitely use the Spotify so I can listen to what I like.

It's a combination for me...

We listen to Spotify (free version) on the computer or Pandora on the smart TV when we are at home listening to music downstairs. The kids have good old fashioned radio CD players in their rooms and we buy them CD's of their favorite artists. When we are in the car, I still enjoy radio very much. The randomness is kind of nice, and I like the talking... in fact I sometimes listen to AM talk radio in the car. The kids don't mind it, thankfully. I also buy CD's of my very favorites and we sometimes listen to those in the car.

It's kind of amazing how this has all changes so fast within the past few years! Hardly anybody buys CDs or even mp3s anymore. No wonder the music biz is in such upheaval lately!

Youtube or Pandora, if it is a song I LOVE I will buy on Google Play. But it has to be a real keeper for me to pay $$$. Usually old songs I have adored for years. We just got an Ozzy Osbourne album on it because my hubby gave away the CD we had o.O Not impressed! Could have just taken off for my phone but no, had to go buy it lol.
