Default So I went into DC yesterday and lookie what I saw!!!
Oh man it is just breathtaking right now down there!!! I am so glad I went when I did cause I think the wind tonight and tomorrow are gonna rip them all down.

OMGosh Melissa! Those are the most gorgeous photos EVER!!! I was there two years ago, and missed them like that by one week. My sil's friend had taken some photos though for me, and they were good...but yours are SO awesome!!
Thanks so much for sharing!

I hope my brother and sil got down to see them. They left early this morning for San Francisco, and I'll see them up there early next week and spend Easter with them. I know they live there and can see them every year, but I'm sure they never get tired of them!!

Those are beautiful!!

I've never been to DC, but we use to go see the Cherry Blossoms every year when we were stationed in Japan. It was so hard to catch them though, they only bloom for like a week or something crazy like that. They were never in full bloom like you caught them when we went.

These are from the last time we went, 6 years ago. (2 megapixel camera used, LOL!)

I guess I traded my cherry blossoms for bluebonnets for a while! I do miss the pink!

Your photos are amazing! I love cherry blossoms! Here in Brazil we don't have any b/c here is a very hot place for them, but I love it very much! Even if I only see them in pictures... They are so beautiful! TFS

I need to take some photography classes!! LOL!!! All that I did was play with the levels, brightness and contrast and exposure and shadow and highlights.
