ISO kits with purple
My kids wear a lot of purple. I don't know why, it's not the favorite color of either of us, but it just happens to be like this. I've noticed that I have very little kits that have purple in them, so I'd like to see some great ones! Any ideas?

I am not a purple fan usually but this kit made me VERY happy. I love it.

My daughter went through a purple phase when she was younger and I have a ton of pics with purple clothes - I use Love Blooms Here that is pictured above and also:

No, hardly any kits with purple. And pretty much all of the kits with purple are way too girly for me. ^^ I need a royal purple to go with my alma mater's colors and I always have to change the purple on the paper I'm using. I just did a layout doing this and had to pick and choose papers from a variety of kits.

Purple is one of my favorite colors, but it doesn't seem to be a common kit color. Here are a few more.
Autumn Daze  Candy Cane Kisses  Kickin' it Old School  Happy Happy Joy Joy  Go Outside!  French Velvet  Sunshine and Happiness  I think there are also a few 2011 Quarterly Assortments with purple.

Haha, incidentally, as designers we consider purple to be a cursed color. It seems every kit we've ever made with purple is always a total stinker in the sales department so most of the girls avoid it in their designs now.
Kinda funny that there is now an ISO thread looking for purple kits. Just thought I'd share because this thread made me giggle R

LOL And purple is Jeff's fave color, so he's always suggesting purple color schemes for me. And I keep telling him "no no no!! I'm not doing purple!" LOL

That's weird. I love purple and if there's a purple kit that I like (featuring a colour I like doesn't equal liking, if you know what I mean), I buy it. OK, I realise that the Shoppe doesn't stand and fall with me, but I kinda thought that others like it, too.

That's too bad that purple kits aren't great sellers. I'd love to see a more boy-oriented purple kit! Maybe dark purples and navy blue with grays or tans. I have Penny's Go Outside and love that.
I usually have to use the purple paper from Modern Stoneage Family by Libby, because it's the right shade, but the texture is usually not right for what I want to use it for. I use it anyway.

Another vote for the color purple! In fact it was the color purple that first led me to the Sweet Shoppe. I saw a layout in a gallery that featured the purple papers in the kit called "A Mother's Love" by KCB & Scrap Kitchen Designs and followed the trail to the Sweet Shoppe store and I have been buying kits here every since then! Designers, don't underestimate the Power of Purple!

So that's why there aren't a lot of purple kits in the store!
I don't particularly hate purple but I admit I have never bought any 'purple' kits. The ones I do have are CT kits. I do plan on buying some now because of my kid's clothes. I think it also depends on the other colors it's combined with. I love purple in autumn kits, it goes really well with those other autumn colors. I also love it in combination with fuchsia and blue, but there have to be enough light/white colors to calm it down.

Purple is my favorite color (despite my love for red/blue and yellow/blue kits), and I can always count on Libby to make some pretty ones.
Free to Be Me is great. Traci/Meg's Tell Me About My Daughter is also amazing.
