Default what are you doing this weekend?

I actually have something fun to do this weekend!!!! DH and I braved getting a babysitter and are going on a date. We'll be going to dinner and then to the movie Interstellar. I'm so excited! We've not had a date in awhile. Also, movie tickets are so expensive! almost $14 a piece! sheesh.

What are you doing this weekend??

Have fun! DS's birthday party is on Sunday, and my parents are probably coming for the weekend. They've been waffling for a few weeks; they want to be there, but it's a big trip and we'll be making the trip up to them in 2 weeks for Thanksgiving. Last I heard they weren't coming, then this morning they said they probably would. If my parents come, Dan and I may be able to get in a date night for Sat, too.

DH is going to a friend's house for drinks and our oldest is sleeping over at his grandmother, which means as soon as I get little miss 6 months to bed tomorrow, I can sit and scrap for as long as I like. I need to catch up on my photobooks.

Yikes...our movie tickets cost $7, although we usually hit the matinee for $5. We'd never go to a firstun film if tickets were $14!!

What are we doing...well, we just moved on Saturday so this weekend we'll probably be finishing moving stuff from hubby's shed to the new house, and then hopefully get photos hung on the wall. And then nothing...nothing sounds good after the week we've had!

My DH is out of town this weekend and my son and I are planning a 'blob' & "nature outing weekend". Meaning we alternate being outside (hoping for a nice hike along the river) with watching movies or playing Minecraft! Gonna be great!

Yeah, movie tix are expensive! In our area, you only get a $1 discount for kids and hardly any showings are considered matinees.

I don't really have any plans for this weekend. I need to give a presentation first thing Monday morning, so I will need to work on content and delivery over the weekend.

Whats a date? lol We haven't gone on one in forever! Just don't have anyone around that we feel could watch our kiddos.

We'll be going to my parents again this weekend. My dad is pretty sick so we're spending as much time with him as we can.

Have fun on your date!

That's how it is here, but we're not too far apart so that's understandable. It's quite ridiculous.

Have a great time! Movie tickets here are $7 also but we usually hit the latest matinee for $5.25.

At any rate my weekend is not exciting - I work Saturdays and Sunday will be spent getting my home ready for winter - plastic on the porch screens and taking care of other stuff like that.

My girls are both headed to a YMCA Leaders retreat for the weekend (Yipee!). So Jason and I are planning to drive to Sarasota Saturday and stay the night. There is an Art Show downtown and we're staying on the intercoastal. Hoping to catch the sunset at the beach. Totally looking forward to some time away from work and alone together! Work has been crazy for me but totally insane for him (home after 8 every night this week).

Let's see -- Friday night we get together with my aunt and uncle for our "weekly" family time. We are taking pizza down to their house along with some cards and board games for a fun family night since it is so cold out all of a sudden after 70/80 degree weather. Saturday -- "Hopefully" will be a "stay-in" day and maybe get some stuff done around the house and some scrapping done and Sunday -- scrapping and PJ's day!

Oh! A date! How exciting! I hope you have a great time! I will be deep cleaning my house in preparation for my mom coming to visit next week and for my daughter's birthday party. I have to coach soccer in the morning and then I'll be cleaning ALLLL day on Saturday.

You don't want to know how much a regular movie ticket is here....

As for this weekend - going away (to the in-laws) for my sister-in-law's surprise birthday party. It's 5 hours drive away and we're supposed to be leaving anytime now (once my husband gets home from work).

My in-laws are coming to visit us. They haven't been here since we moved. I'm pretty excited to show them our new home.

Yup, $14 is the going rate for Movie Tickets up here also.... (unless you wanna see something in 3D that's way more!), We usually take the kids to a movie once a year, but that is going to either the drive in or the really old theatre that is half the cost, but their new releases aren't really NEW releases. It's the experience that counts.

Gosh a date night would be nice..... I think hubby and I have had 3 in our 14 years together and that's including our pre-kid dating period.

Hubby will be going hunting, the kids have already planned out their gaming week-end (which is fine with me because the weather is terrible so I'm just glad they could agree on something to do while stuck in the house). Ever since I packed away all the Halloween decorations I have been on a cleaning frenzy.... I'd really like to do a deep clean of the house so during the week I can start decorating for the holidays

Tonight I'm meeting my scrappy friends group at a paint your own pottery place for a get together. Tomorrow DH and I are going on a date to see a movie- I think. Then we need to start deep cleaning the house and prepping for the visitors coming the week of thanksgiving.

Ooh a date sounds fab! We really need one of those ourselves hahaha.

I will be spending my weekend with my oldest son at Southern Illinois University. He is a senior in high school this year (help! when did my baby grow up?!) and SIU is where he will be attending next year for Pre-Physical Therapy.

We have a Leaders & Scholars reception Friday night and then the open house is Saturday. So it will be a somewhat interesting weekend. Not as fun as a date night out though lol.

Ohhh date nights are so much fun! Tickets are ridicoulous these days. Here in the Netherland a IMAX ticket is like $18 but it seems like prices are raising everywhere in the world. I will be spending my weekend working on Saturday and lazy day is on!
