Need a good salad recipe...

I was "volunteered" to make a salad for Christmas. My fav recipe is a broccoli salad, but my mom is already bringing a different type of broccoli salad, so that's out! I'm looking for something I can put together the night before. Any thoughts?

I'm just taking a green salad to our family gathering on Christmas Day. Nothing flash. Just a lettuce based salad with cherry tomatoes, avocado, capsicum, red onion, carrot and whatever else I can find. No idea what dressing (if any) I"ll put on it yet. If I add dressing, chances are the kids won't touch it.

I'd probably do a big garden salad and bring a couple of dressings for the side.

There's one that I used to make for potlucks...it involved angel hair pasta, Zesty Italian dressing, Salad Supreme seasoning, and veggies. Easy and yummy. I don't think I have that one pinned though.
