Default Check this out ...

a couple of years ago (in April 2012) Shawna and Mari Koegelenberg released a new kit: "Hello Hello." It seems to be gone from the store coz I couldn't find it, searching, just now.

Here are a couple of LOs I found in the gallery, giving you an idea of what the kit looked like:

Get the idea, right? I had to buy the kit back then, because I thought it was just too adorable. And now, check this out: A couple of weeks ago, I was searching the biggest internet sales forum around here (something like ebay, but they usually sell new products, and don't auction, but you can find pretty much everything there, even food that some of us foreigners wouldn't be able to get otherwise). So, I was searching for scrapbook related things (there's no such things as craft stores here the way most of us are used to), and then I came across this:

Doesn't this look oddly familiar? These are real Pink Paisley stickers and they match perfectly with Shawna's and Mari's kit. I mean p-e-f-e-c-t-l-y! Same colors, same patterns, the phones are exactly the same! And I'm thinking: Was there any collaboration between the digital and the traditional paper world designers? What have I missed here?

At any rate, already owning the "Hello Hello" kit, needless to say, I had to get the sticker sheet, and then created a cute little mini album (which I haven't uploaded to the gallery. Yet)!

I don't know for sure about these, but several of the SSD designers do have paper lines, too. When Mari left, I think I remember seeing something on the SSD facebook page about it being due to a conflict between her paper and digi lines. So maybe she did have something to do with these stickers. I hope so, given how similar they are!

Well, I know Zoe does paper and fabric (at least about the fabric I'm sure), Traci does have paper stuff, too.

Then my other question would be: Who is behind Pink Paisley?
Is it a company with several designers (like Echo Park, etc.), or is it just one designer's brand name? Would Mari be creating for the Pink Paisley brand then? (Or does Shawna create paper products?)

At any rate, I thought it was too cool to find this cardboard sticker sheet here (where it's so hard to come by any physical scrapbooking products), and it's just cool to be able to combine my digiscrap passion with some real scrapbooking products!

Mari works for Pink Paislee and those lines are created by her based on her products with designers here at SSD.

Don't you just love to see digi products in paper form? Ju (Juliana Kneipp) also has her products turned into paper goodies and they're breathtakingly beautiful!

And Traci designs paper products for Gossamer Blue, like the wood veneers here:

This is my dream: To put together a layout digitally and then buy all the supplies I used in touchable form. Not to just print them out, but to have the frames, flowers, ribbons, etc, just like they appear on my computer. It would be perfect.
