All Alone

So - Husband deployed, Boys camping, princess visiting father...and I find myself all alone . Just me and the dog. I should be jumping for joy - my house will stay clean... but its just so quiet and a little creepy - How will I get through the next 2 weeks? The worst dinner. What do I do - so if you had 2 weeks by yourself - what would you do?

Scrap, clean, organize, watch girly shows, things that are tough to do with the kids around.

I'd listen to music really loud and dance a lot

Everything you can't or don't do when they are all home.

I would scrap a ton, watch girly movies & shows, organzie stuff, read, enjoy the peace and quiet and do whatever your heart desires.

Yep, everything Mari said. I would book a hair appointment, get my nails done, go shopping for ME.....everything that I never get a chance to do when the kids are home. Go see a movie, or rent some DVDs, get some girlfriends over.

But mostly I would scrap and organise my scrap stash. Back up my stuff, purge things.....


.....oh what I wouldn't do for a few days to myself.

Hmmm...stay in pj's as long as I wanted...go to the movies...spend time browsing grown-up books at the library...scrapping and watching whatever I wanted on the television. Maybe get the house cleaned and rearrange furniture. And quite possibly take off for a day trip or two (or maybe an overnighter somewhere).

I seriously have no idea what I would do. It's beyond my imagination being alone for that long.

Bubble baths, watching movies, scrapping, taking a nap, reading a good book, going to a store or a restaurant or a coffee shop that you haven't been to and trying it out...

Throw a girly night/sleepover with your best friends.
Sleep in.
Clean and purge and clean and purge and organize and clean and purge. You just can't do that kind of stuff with all the other people around. And if you get tired of it and don't finish it in one day/night, you can LEAVE IT and it'll be JUST THE WAY YOU LEFT IT!! WIN! Throw out old toys, clean out DH's closet, clean out the attic. Anytime my Dad is away on business the first thing my mom does it get into the attic and throw out a bunch of cr@p that he's keeping for no reason, LOL!

OMG I tell my husband this all the time and he cannot understand why I need an empty house to really clean and why I get so annoyed when I am trying to clean with everyone in the house LOL. With him here all the time I only get the house clean-cleaned like once a month now. I was able to do it like every couple of days when he was working.

and what I would do? Scrap, clean, purge my digi stuff, go to the beach, have a girls night out (or two or three LOL) go to the movies, go to the beach again
