Where's your "Scrappin" Spot?

I'm really thinking about moving my hard drive upstairs so I can use it with my laptop. I think I'd get more scrapping done sitting on the couch. I don't get downstairs to my "scrappin'" spot as often as I'd like, especially now that I went back to work.

So, tell me, where do you scrap from?

My desk (and laptop) are in our living room. I used to have a seperate room for my desk, but I felt 'alone' in there.

Sitting on the sofa but even that's becoming uncomfortable now I'm getting closer to my due date

My husband and I have big office over the garage where we have our desks and computers so that's where I do all of my scrapbooking. I do other stuff around the house though - like I'll type journaling or edit photos on my phone/iPad.

My desk "office" is my back wall of my living room. I have a desktop so that's where I scrap too. I think i'd love to have a laptop to scrap with on the couch though!

Now I have my EHD on my purse and I scrap everywhere I can

You guys that move around when you scrap, do you not use external harddrives?

That's my biggest concern, moving that around.

We have a really small house (no extra rooms, just 2 bedrooms) so I scrap on my desktop at my desk, which is where I also work. My desk is in a corner of my living room so I can watch TV and chat with Cheyanne if she's around when I scrap.

usually at the couch, or kitchen table. Where we are now there is no other place to go... I used to have my own office space (and I loved it.... I like being alone and where it is quiet to work).

I have a scrappy room/crafty room/spot for a treadmill/space all my own in our basement. I have a desktop computer so it's there or no scrapping at all. I was going to share a pic but I can't find one since we finished it completely and right now it's in no condition to be shared.

I do but it's a portable one so its small and connects only via usb, no power outlet, so it's easy to move.

I have an office but I never digi scrap in there. I'm on the couch in the living room or occasionally locked away in the bedroom if Adam is watching Ryan.

On my laptop in the living room or in my bedroom. I have a USB external harddrive so it easily portable. I like listening to the TV or music in the background in the living room with my family around to chat with if I feel it.

I also have a office with a desktop which I use occasionally during the morning / daytime.

My computer/desk is in our lounge (which means I have more time to scrap as I can watch the kids at the same time if they're doing something)

At the moment I scrap in my bedroom....even though I have an office upstairs. I felt shut off from the rest of the house and my family so I moved my desk downstairs to the big open awkward spot in my bedroom facing the backyard so I can scrap and watch my kiddos at the same time.

My area is also in the basement/kids play area. My living room tends to be quieter because the kids are usually downstairs, as is the hubby, he has a man cave. So I'm either listening to video games or kids playing if I'm down there.

Most of the time in the living room on my laptop. I just bring my tablet with me and if I need a hard drive, the same. I'm so spoiled, I love laptop scrapping.

I scrap on my desktop in our family room. It's where everyone is usually so I do it so I can be with everyone.

I do almost all my scrapping on the sofa in my living room, using my laptop. I have Photoshop installed on the bf's desktop in our spare bedroom/office, but I've never really used it.

Yes, I use one with my laptop when I'm scrapping. My EHD is pretty small, so it doesn't bother me too much. I'd love to have an Airport so I could just back up and access everything wirelessly, but for now, this is what works.

Wherever I take my laptop. I have a 1TB portable USB external drive that has all my scrrapping goodies on (including photos)

i scrap from my laptop so can scrap anywhere but it is stationed at my desk in the living room central to everything/one.

Our "cave" is in the basement. It has our entertainment area and all the PC's. One for the kids, one for Dh and my PC. So I am down here pretty much all day. Since our kids are older, when they are upstairs in their rooms, my attention is not needed as much anymore.

I do. Mine is USB and pretty compact so it goes where I go.

I'm a desktop girl - so I'm "stuck" I suppose where it is. I do have an iPad that I could so some journaling and such on if I wanted, but I really prefer a full keyboard (I'm so weird I know). But the computer is in the corner of our living room (which is also just next to the kitchen and dining room downstairs) so I'm usually with everyone if there is homework/studying going on in the afternoon if I can sneak some time in. The kids play room is upstairs - though really they aren't up there a ton just to play their video games (which isn't often cause we are mean parents lol who limit it greatly) and sometimes build or just play. Most of the time they are downstairs playing games/drawing

I have three spots. The best one is downstairs in my office with my pc and bigger screen. I have EHD's hooked up with all my digi folders and photos.

But I've recently started scrapping upstairs in the LR at night, hanging out more with my hubs, so I sit on the couch with a small folding table for my laptop, portable EHD and my tablet. It's a smaller screen which drives me nuts and the laptop is a lot slower than my pc but hopefully it'll be faster after I bring it in for servicing soon. When we go away for spring/summer wkends to our trailer in WA, I bring my laptop/EHD/tablet and scrap out there.

In my 'home office' (I work from home one day a week) which is really just a corner of our second loungeroom (the one the kids don't watch TV in). I have a big desk where my PC is set up, lots of shelves and cupboards.... and alot of the kids junk piled all around me all the time, no matter how hard I try to tidy it up.

Re laptop and EHD, my EHD goes with me wherever my laptop does - I have a lap desk that I love and use all the time now.

I scrap where ever I can (been known to do it waiting for the doctor) -- love my Surface Pro laptop and EHD...
