NSBR: Need help with prom favors
Okay here's the deal. My sister is a high school principal of a really small school so she gets stuck doing some of the silliest stuff.........anyway. The prom is this weekend and she just realized today someone dropped the ball on favors and we are trying to come up with something. She wants to do one of those lucite/acrylic frames for each student and put a little graphic, the name of the school , date etc on it. Normally we would just use paint markers, but we need to do 50+ and the prom is saturday! So what I was wondering, does anyone know of a way we could possibly do it on the computer? I had the thought of printing on transparencies and then using some kind of spray adhesive to adhere it to the frames, but we don't know if that would show? Or some kind of transfer or something? Clear labels? (Is there such a thing?) Basically I wanted to pick your brains to see if anyone had any ideas cause we are doing this ------>

I would buy clear address labels at an office supply store, print and then stick them on your frames....I would get some cool stickers too, there are so many really nice ones out there. The only thing is that you may have to cut the label a bit ( I don't know what sizes they come in ) Good luck in your, hope that helped.....

You could print onto clear address labels or they also make clear sheets that you could print on an cut yourself (Avery product you could get somewhere like Staples). I also thought it might be cute to use a metal book plate like the ones here on Etsy (you could probably find packs of these at craft stores too):
You could adhere them to the frames and have a message/logo/etc. printed on photo paper/cardstock in the frame. Since you couldn't use the brads/screws on an acrylic frame, you could get some jewels from Michael's to put on the circles to dress it up. And add flowers or decorations or whatever else to the frame too. Just thinking off the top of my head. LOL Hope you find something fun!! T. |
