Default Ok guys...show of hands!

Who all knew you were going over the budget that you (amusingly) set for yourself...knowing there was no way you were sticking to a budget?

:meek hand raise:

I sort of forgot about it...well not entirely, but just had so much going on that it never really sunk it until this weekend - so didn't think of a budget - oops

Same here. But I still have a few more tasks to complete for my blackout. Gah. It's a good time to stock up I guess. Lol.

I did good with spending what I needed to do the blackout but super excited to go shopping tomorrow with my 40% off bingo coupon! It was hard though to not buy everything all at once!

I didn't even bother with a budget... Maybe I should have made one in hindsight!

I have a mad money account that is really just for scrapping stuff, so as long as I don't spend more than that I'm good. I've been at it a long time now so I don't buy as much as I used to.

That's how I am, too. I go into big events like this with a budget in mind, but because it's my own fun money account it doesn't really matter if I decide to spend more during the iNSD sales and then less the next month or two. (And thank goodness for that-if I had to get DH's approval for every single digiscrapping or ebook purchase I made, there'd be a whole lot more tension in our marriage!)

The one place I went a lot over what I'd budgeted was on printing. I thought I had 50 pages to print, but it ended up being 75. Luckily I was paying for that with birthday money from my parents, so I was still able to print them all.

I actually went UNDER budget. : ( I feel like I don't even know who I am anymore! Joel said I could spend $25 (we're trying really hard to live only on what we make each month, and it's the worst!), but I spent *ahem* a little on some clothes at Target.com earlier this month because my mom is sending us a package, and I knew that we didn't have the extra money for scrap supplies. Being a responsible grown up is no fun sometimes!

It really isn't fun - but it is so good to be (this is what I try to tell myself over and over at least!) so yay for you and I'm cheering you on and giving you super high fives!

I didn't spend too much remembering I would have a coupon coming this week from the bingo black out...I think I would have budgeted a little extra in my "fun money" if I had remembered the weekend, but I didn't spend but barely over $25 and half of that was from coupons/rebates from some app my friend told me about a couple of weeks ago - so I feel like that was just like extra money (not really extra coupon savings, still got to use coupons, just rebate type money they put in a paypal account...so that was nice)

I didn't go in with a budget per say but in the back of my mind I knew what I wanted but then got a few extras to get the FWP goodies so only spent about $35USD/$50NZD in total ($23USD at SSD though)

I tried to keep myself on a budget, but I figure I'll just cut back a bit on other extras this month. I need to go renew my library card anyway - a good excuse to stay inside this month and not spend money!

I didn't go in with a budget in mind but I knew what I was comfortable spending. I ended up buying more than I expected but still spent less than I expected. I rarely buy these days except on NSD, DSD etc type sales so I'm not concerned.

I had set a $30 budget but spent close to $60 instead lol. To be fair, I haven't bought much for months now and I could have spent much more as my wish list is out of control but I restrained myself.

I'll have to do the bingo for a few months so I can buy what's left as I need it all!

Girl, SAME! I hadn't bought in a while and I was like "Ok, so I should be able to spend about $30 or so dollars, no big." and ended up spending closer to twice that I imagine since I spent about $35 here alone. I ALMOST bought about $8 more dollars worth last night, which I'm including in the (larger) amount...but I remembered I'll have a coupon very soon if I can just hold my horses! Haha.

LOL, I love the meek hand raise! I'm about to do a very quick shop before the sale ends. I'm not sure if having to do it so quickly will be either a good thing or a bad thing for the pocket.

I was actually pretty disciplined and didn't spend too much. I'm usually more impulsive so it felt pretty good to stick to a reasonable amount.

I was under budget thanks to a great contest win; however, I'm heading to the shop with a Bingo coupon to rectify that very soon.

It's a good thing the sale is already over, because after seeing more layouts in the gallery, there were more things I wanted. I'll just have to wishlist them and pick them up during the next sale! I didn't set myself a budget.. I spent way less than I have in previous years, but that's mainly because it's been hard to find the time to scrap, so I really wanted to be able to use what I bought.

Amen. Every once & a while he'll make a comment about a random charge, but it's the $2 charges. So thankful he overlooks the $20 ones every Friday!
