It's SNOWING here!!

Oh my gosh!! I'm so excited!! huge, fat, chunky flakes. The sky is WHITE! It's never snowed like this in the 12 years I've lived here! even though it's above freezing, the snow is actually starting to accumulate on the grass. I'm so excited!! but I'm stuck at work...

I think I'm coming down with something. *cough*...*SNIFF*...might need to head home sick (to get the kids out of preschool for this awesome photo/scrapbook opportunity!)

If I knew how to work this stupid phone I have, I'd take a pic and post it - but I don't know how to get the pics off my phone

DH sent pics of the snowmen we made this morning before taking the kids to preschool! they were so excited to put carrot noses on them. One came out looking like a duck, LOL! but what do you expect when texas kids make snowmen??

I've heard that unexpected snow in Texas can make you very, very sick. You'd better head home just to be on the safe side.

I'm so loving it, except that we're getting interrupted by sleet too and it's melting the darn snow. That's not right. This morning I opened up my back door and I could hear all the kids from Ainsley's school whooping and hollering it up It made my day!

those are so cute! I think I'm the only one in Texas that hasn't seen snow this year. It did snow where my kids go to school this morning so hopefully they got to see it.

We had SO much fun in it too! Making a smilebox with pictures and video clips now- my mom in San Antonio didn't get any My school didn't let out early, and surprisingly more students came than I expected, but since I teach a language class, I thoguht "What better language experience for kids who NEVER see snow than going out to play in it?" We had both classes out in it.

Yay for snow in Austin- even if for just one day!

I got a call from my son (in Texas) telling me he was getting the snow! How fun...he was pretty excited.

I would love to have a few days of winter!! The most wintery day we've had here, it was raining hard all day. That's it.
